Hey everyone! I just released an early alpha build of my new game WaveSpawn 2, a fast-paced twin-stick shooter inspired by Geometry Wars and other arena-style arcade games.

I’m mainly looking for feedback on:

  • Gameplay feel: Does the movement and shooting feel satisfying and responsive?

  • Difficulty curve:  Does it get too hard too quickly or too easy for too long?

  • Visual clarity: Is the screen too cluttered when lots of enemies spawn?

  • Audio and effects: Do the sound and visuals add to the intensity, or feel overwhelming?

  • Should I make a mobile version?

You can check it out here:

Any feedback—big or small—is appreciated! I’m especially interested in improving the pacing and enemy variety before the next update.

Thanks in advance for giving it a try!

Hello Everyone! I am currently working on a few projects but I don't know which ones to continue with and complete. Please leave feedback below on how I could improve this project and if I should even continue with it. More projects will be posted later this month. Thanks so much and I would really appreciate it if you played! https://ayric.itch.io/projectplat-alpha

To turn on caps lock on Chromebook you would need to press alt and the search key. Thank you so much for the feedback I will keep it in mind for my next title!

Thanks for the feedback! It means a lot :) I'll probably make them more rare, or just lower the firing rate.

Thanks for the feedback!
That's definitely a problem with the trackpad sensitivity, the device thinks your typing so it's ignoring any trackpad input. To fix this, find your trackpad settings and lower any "Palm Detection" sensitivity.
