First of all, thank you so, so much for your thorough feedback. It is extremely appreciated!

I was also thinking about doing some invincibility shenanigans, but was not able to do it in time. But I will probably tackle that in the future. I also really like the idea of recalling the arrow, though this would need some big balancing, like a cooldown or so. But a really cool idea!

Regarding the "other way" of ending the game. It is more like a gimmick than an actual way to play the game. If you win the game once, you will get a hint at what the hidden feature is. Please don't expect too much, though! I will definitely tweak this feature in the future, plus add more variety to it. I won't go into too much detail, not to spill the secret ^^

So yeah, thanks so much for the helpful criticism and the nice feedback. It is highly appreciated ^^

Thank you so much! I also saw quite the similarities when I played your game haha. Glad you like it though! ^^

Thanks for the comment. Glad you like it :)

Super cute game. I love how - besides the actual gameplay - it tells a small story with every interaction. Really, really cute, and amazing work for the given time span and limitation. Like it a lot ^^

I sincerely love this game. It is super atmospheric and was a really cool experience. Taking into consideration that this has been done within such a short time, it is really stunning. I might be a bit biased, since I really have a thing for such games. Anyway... really well executed. I gotta admit, the red glowing eyes gave me shivers the first time.

Sometimes it was quite hard to really figure out which symptoms are considered "problematic" and which aren't. Especially breathing was a bit hard to hear over the music. Nonetheless, this game has really high potential - in this game jam, but also as a standalone game. Amazing work!

Cute game idea. I really like this use of the limitation projected onto a tower defense game. It was really fun to play around and get to higher waves. I think the scaling is really well done as well. Great work! ^^

Really well done. Truly a game worth spending quite some time with. I think the concept is really nice, and the execution is even better. It feels well thought out and nicely polished. Great work!

Also, a big plus for the really nice-looking pixel art.

Super cute little game. I like the concept and find the art and animation amazing. A few more elements could be added to make things even more interesting, but in the scope of a game jam, absolutely great!

I really enjoy the graphics and overall game loop of the game. It has some really nice elements to it and feels very well polished. There are a few things worth improving (such as some enemies, in my opinion), but overall, really well done!

Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thank you so much!

Thanks for your comment. I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the game and like the overall concept ^^

Very cute little game. I like the idea of it and how it turned out. I am not sure if it was a problem just on my side (most likely my browser being the issue), but I had some really bad FPS drops every now and then. I also managed to get stuck with the pick-ups - I was holding them and could no longer load anything anymore, nor pick up any new ones, although the cannons were empty.

Nevertheless, nice idea, and I could definitely see myself spending quite some time with it ^^

Very interesting concept. The drawings are incredibly cute, plus the game made me feel sorry for bugs. Really well done prototype. For a potential future, if there were more substance, such as increasing difficulty (besides higher prices), and a longer game loop, this could very well be a fully fleshed-out game outside of the game jam. Definitely worth working on ^^

Really nice game. For me, the difficulty scales really nicely. It does not get stressy too soon, nor too late. The sprites and other assets are also really well done, considering everything is self-made ^^

For my personal taste, the music could be more intense, considering that the levels are getting progressively more stressful. Also, even though the tutorial is a bit long, after a few tries, I'd say the game is pretty self-explanatory.

Super cute game. I really like the artwork and the small details, like the muffling created by the customers. A really nice concept, executed very well! Also big plus for the cute monster drawings ^^

Thanks for your criticism and feedback! I am happy to hear that you like the implementation. I uploaded a small hotfix that tackles the hitboxes, so I hope those feel a bit better now :)

I also totally agree that the waves are quite challenging right now. Sadly, I ran out of time when it came to balancing. But if someone is really eager, it might even be the right challenge for them ^^

Thank you so much for your feedback. I made a little update to the game, where those exact issues are addressed. I am happy you like it :)

Niceeeee

This game changed my life. I can't even describe in words how much success this has brought to my life. Thanks to the genius behind this game. You are a true hero!

Thanks for your feedback! ^^

Yeah, I can understand why, haha

Very interesting game! I really love the pixelated style and the choose of character models - they are great for the given atmosphere. The boss fight is at the beginning a bit challenging, but that's fine since it's not unfair. However, I reall liked the game. Keep it up ^^

Very cool idea! I like the concept of it, also the atmosphere is amazing. For my taste, there is too less (background-) music but everyone has their own taste ^^. Nevertheless (besides the bugs mentioned by earlier comments), it was a lot of fun playing the game. Keep up the good work ^^

Hello there! I really like the game concept. The graphics are also very, very nice, as well as the music. I had to play for 8 mins straight when I started it, haha. However, I also found a "bug" (not sure if it intended or not). If you through bombs at  the wall, they are just placed there and won't explode. Nevertheless, I was a pleasure to play that game. Keep up the good work! ^^

Hey there! If you REALLY want, I can sure help you. But please keep in mind that I am a bloody beginner. I would recommend to watch a tutorial on youtube since those videos can probably explain it way better than I ever could ^^

Thanks for the comment. It is relevant to the theme, since you are switching between two time zones. Hope that makes it a bit clearer ^^

Very cool game! I like the art design and the chilled background music. Keep up the good work ^^

Thanks a lot for the nice words! I will definitely check out your submission. Also, if you want you can leave a follow so you wont miss any updates. Thanks again ^^

Very cute game! It can become pretty addictive. Sadly I weren't able to get more than 300 points. However, I really enjoyed playing it. Keep up the good work! ^^

Thanks for the nice words! If you like to you can leave a follow as well, so you won't miss anything. Again thank you ^^

Hätte ich mir von dieser Firma nicht erwartet.

Super cute little game! I have seen that you can not name the AI something including a "r" because the level / game would reset itself. However, it is a really cool level and I had a lot of fun with it. Keep up the good work! ^^

It totally is! A mixture of our games would be very cool I think, haha ^^

Hey there! I really, really like the idea and the cute animations. I encountered one bug - the torso is able to "fly" around when pressing jump multiple times (at least in the very first level of the game). However, it was a very cool experience and I hope to see more of your work in the future ^^

Really cool game. I had the same idea with my level but sadly wasn't able to actually create a Level Design in time. However, very well done. I really enjoyed playing it ^^

Hey again! I really like the game, especially the design. I really, really enjoy such simplicity. The only thing I would also love to see is a mouse-sensitivy-adjustment option, because it's a bit too quick for my taste. But besides that - everything done correctly! ^^

Hey there! Thanks for the tip! I will keep it in mind for the future. Thanks for your feedback :D

Also - I actually just used the game jam to get the motivation to get started. I will definitely keep working on the game. So, if you like the idea, feel free to look by some time ^^
