Thanks for playing our game! The hitboxes took a lot of time to set up, so I am glad you liked them :) Sorry about the bug, its an issue we will be trying to get fixed in an upcoming build.

Hey thanks for giving the game a try! I am glad you were able to put Not Jack into his place, well done! Thanks for pointing out the bugs, we have several issues like these which we will be doing our best to get fixed in an upcoming patch for the game. Cheers!

Thanks for giving it a try! I think the controls are on the itch.io page for the game, but we unfortunately didn't get around to making an instructions page in the game. Sorry about the bug. That's an issue we will be working on fixing in an upcoming patch.

Awesome!! Thanks for playing the game and for the compliments.

Thanks so much we appreciate the positive encouragement :) I am glad you gave our game a try.

Wow I never knew I was such an athlete

Wow I actually love the music of your game. I was bopping for sure. Also was hecking spooked

I came into their lair, and reigned terror down upon my foes. However eventually the parasite consumes all, even me in all my glory.

Wow. Truly a masterpiece. I went on quite the journey. I brought lovers together. I helped the cows get revenge. I saved a friend in need. Two thumbs up.

I was down on my luck in the depths of hell with nothing but my ice cream... Despite that I managed to pull myself up by my bootstraps and start my own business where the creatures of the night would line up for scoops of my delicious cream. With their patronage I was able to buy my way out of hell and live the real hellion dream. 10/10

Awesome, I always love a good fmv game. I liked the silliness of it all.

Cool, would love to hear what you think of the game. As far as the difficulty goes, it could just be me I am pretty bad at games hahah

Hey that's awesome thanks for giving our game a try.

I like your game concept, however its quite difficult. I could never manage to make it through the door after playing for a while. Anyways Nice work! I really like the art of the green monsters and giant skeletons.

Love the game it came out really well! Also really glad you fixed the bugs. Fantastic work

I'll give it another try :)

Awesome job. I thought the story was great. Also the jumpscares definitely got me several times. I love the poetry at the end. Its really cool how much you managed to get done in the short timeframe

Hey, that's awesome you were able to get something done in time for your first jam! Congrats on finishing! I think your first jam project came out looking a lot better than mine. Hope you continue to participate in more jams in the future :)

Awesome game man. I think this is really fun, however It seems like there are a couple bugs which make the game a little hard to play. I think the concept is awesome though. I would love to play through it all if the bugs get fixed. Awesome work for a one week project. Also just want to mention I really liked the voiceover.

That would be awesome :) I would love to hear how it goes.

Thanks so much :) I am really thankful I had some talented teammates! A fighting game was a lot more work to get going than I initially thought. Thanks for giving it a try!

Wow for a solo programmer this is pretty impressive. Congrats on finishing your first solo programming jam!

Awesome I think this was pretty fun. Its cool how the real world gameplay reflects the arcade game's.

Hey nice job! I think its really interesting to test the players knowledge at the beginning of the game. I really like the environments. Also that baby crying sound is so unsettling!

Thanks for giving it a try :) looks like you ran into a bug at the end, sorry about that. We are planning to continue development on this project, so hopefully we can get that fixed.

Also a witch would be a cool idea, thanks for the suggestion. We hope to add more Halloween related characters in the future, so maybe it is a possibility.

Of course :) no problem sorry about that.

I love the music. Nice job its pretty difficult trying to control two characters at once

Awesome game. It was really clever desaturating the game to get all the assets to gel together. Really good work for a one week project. Pretty Impressive. Also I really love the level design of this castle.

Hey thanks for making this thread :) Its really cool you are looking out for us standalone folks. I would've preferred to upload a webGL build but our files were to big and we didn't have the time to clean up the project to get it lightweight enough to run in browser. I'll check your project out now, cheers!

Hey! Nice game jam project. Its a lot of work to get something ready for submission, I am glad you were able to get something to submit :) Keep it up

Nice job! This was a pretty neat concept for a jam project. I loved the centipede enemies and the idea of gathering up body parts was pretty interesting

Nice work! :) I really like the design of the centipede-type enemy. This is a pretty neat project.

This jam was my jam, man. I had a lot of fun, and am pretty happy with what we managed to get done,  a playable Halloween themed fighting game made with Unity3D, in time for the jam. I am really happy I got to be a part in this event. Just wanted to say thanks to the folks who organized this. You are very much appreciated.
