Post any ideas you have for someone to make into a game here!

Ok, so if you aren't mauszozo, then you can ignore this. I have a link I need you to follow. It is an itch.io link. It leads to something special.

Hello everyone! Voting is about over, which means that the jam is almost over. This is to address a concern and the future of the Gameboy Jam.

Now I saw awildrobo's post about development software, and in case people didn't read that but are reading this, you can use any software with the ability to export .gb files or as Gameboy games in a browser like Gorble Games did. I understand I didn't address that in the rules, and I apologize for that.

I do have plans to start another Gameboy Jam that is more organized and refined with additional clarification on certain things (Like the topic above). Although this time, I will let everyone vote on things like topics and if there will be teams. Someone will also have the honor of having the ability to become a mod. I will not say who, but I have decided. I also ask that if people join then to make something, cause unfortunately, 15 people joined but there were only 2 submissions. If there were people that helped create those submissions and joined, then please let me know. I will also be tweeting out links to the games that were submitted as well as their creators. That will occur when the next Jam is open for submissions (If I can remember, hopefully).

Gorble Games, it is amazing to see that you had the time to make a game. It was great, though I accidentally went back a page and thought it crashed.

That is all for now, so congratulations and wonderful job to the creators of the 2 submissions. Anyways, I wish everyone a wonderful day and to keep practicing their skills so games can turn out even better.

Sorry for a late reply.

Unfortunately, I did not think about people wanting to use other engines, so I said nothing about it. Also, since the jam is almost over and I will probably start a second jam that is more organized and refined, as long as it is developed with software that can produce GB games.

(1 edit)

Pros: Very nice intro and menu. Moving NPCs. Cinematics.

Cons: Kicked me out when looking for power button. Edit: Sorry, pressed the button to go back a page.

Very good concept. Only problem is that A would flap but B did nothing.

I do not believe itch.io will let you, no.

That's amazing to hear!
