Thank you so much for playing and for the valuable feedback! We're really happy you enjoyed the game core. We'll definitely keep these points in mind for the future update after the Jam!

Thank you so much! We're really glad you liked the idea and the art style.
That's exactly what we're planning to do! We're already collecting all the feedback we've received, and once the GMTK Jam voting period is over, we'll be working on a polished update with improvements and new features. Stay tuned!
Thanks a lot for the valuable feedback and for taking the time to play our game! As for the high number of remaining steps, that was intentional. We wanted to be generous with the step limit and avoid adding another layer of difficulty, so that everyone could comfortably reach the end of the experience.
We're already collecting all the feedback we've received and we're planning a big update once the GMTK Jam voting period is over. So yes, we're really happy to hear you're interested stay tuned!
For your first game jam, congratulations! It's not easy to design and balance a game like this with such a limited amount of time.
I really enjoyed the music it added a lot to the atmosphere and immersion. Another feature I thought was very well designed (it could use a bit more polish, but it already works well!) is the daily journal and being able to go back and review the events from previous days.
Thank you so much for the precious feedback! We really appreciate you taking the time to play and share your thoughts with us.
We are already aware of some of these issues and we’re planning to work on improving the game once the Jam voting period is over. Adding more polish, improving the overall experience, and addressing things like the checkpoint system are definitely among our goals.
We’re really happy you enjoyed the concept and the amount of effort we put into the game. Thanks again for your support! :3
Hey guys, the music is awesome! I have to admit, I caught myself dancing a few times while playing. 😂
Overall, the game is really fun and well put together. My only suggestion would be to add a small UI pop-up or notification letting players know they can level up once they've earned enough points to spend. I went through several rounds without realizing I could upgrade and ended up fighting at level 1 the whole time! 😅
Other than that, congratulations, and great job!
Technically, this is one of the most impressive games I've played. A setting like this really depends on strong art and sound design to create immersion, and I think you absolutely nailed both.
My only criticism is that the countdown theme tends to fade into the background once you're in the core gameplay loop. Other than that, this is an outstanding entry.
Great job!
Really interesting idea! With a bit more polish, I think this could turn into a really great little game.My only piece of feedback is about the music in the main menu. It can be quite unpleasant, especially if you're playing with headphones.
Other than that, congratulations to the whole team, and great job!
Really fun game! I love how you incorporated the countdown theme into the core gameplay mechanics. We took a similar approach in our own game, so I was really happy to see someone interpret the same idea from a different perspective.
The puzzles were really satisfying to solve.
One small issue I noticed: in some cases, after respawning, the little character falls into the void.
Great job!
I found the concept and the overall atmosphere of the game really interesting. From a gameplay perspective, it unfortunately still lacks a bit of depth (especially for the theme countdown) , but the potential of the idea is clearly visible.
The narrative is well crafted and does a great job conveying the mood of the project, while the artwork and audio are definitely the strongest points.
Good job <3
First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to play our game and leave such detailed feedback—we really appreciate it! It will be incredibly useful for the small polish update we're planning after the GMTK voting ends.
As the game designer, I'll happily take the blame 😅. In some places, the level design is definitely too punishing. The idea was that the more the player rushes, the more the game pushes back (especially in the later levels), but a little extra guidance would probably have made this concept clearer without taking away the challenge.
And finally... thanks for finding that bug! You've officially earned a spiritual award for helping us squash one more issue in the post-jam patch <3
Very simple idea, but HEY! I found myself glued to it for dozens of minutes, trying to get an even higher score, so I’d say that simplicity definitely won in this case!
The game is also very well made overall, from the art direction to the sound design. The only thing I might suggest is tweaking the font, as the numbers can sometimes be a bit difficult to read, but that’s really just a minor detail.
I think the game's intro was the funniest thing I've seen all day, hahaha. Someone on your team definitely deserves an award for coming up with that idea!Huge compliments to the two voice actors as well, they really add an extra layer of charm and personality to the project.
The core idea is really interesting, and I loved the decision to combine Blackjack with roguelike mechanics. It works surprisingly well!
Overall, congratulations to the entire team from all of us as well! Hahaha ❤️
Congratulations, guys! The idea is fantastic and very well executed. I personally love both rhythm games and parry mechanics, so this was right up my alley.
At first, I had a bit of trouble recognizing the rhythmic pattern between the gameplay and the music, but once it clicked, it became really fun to play!
If I had one suggestion, it would be to make the parry timing window slightly more forgiving for first-time or casual players. That said, since this was made for a game jam, it's a very minor point.
The art style and sound design were both excellent. Great job, everyone!
First of all, congratulations! This is one of the most interesting and original ideas I've seen, even compared to games with many more ratings (including ours maybe, haha), so great job!
My only suggestion would be to add a bit more UI feedback in the shop. For example, when you don't have enough resources to buy dice, the game doesn't provide much indication of why the purchase can't be completed. At first, I actually thought the shop was bugged before realizing I simply didn't have enough resources.
Overall, it's a very simple idea, but it's executed really well. Great work!
The game is very well made and feels immersive, thanks to its narrative and charming pixel art. Unfortunately, I think the gameplay is where it falls short. It's a bit too simple, and the gameloop don't really reflect the theme the connection comes across mostly through the story rather than the gameplay itself.
That said, it's still a very charming project and definitely one worth continuing to develop. The core concept feels really solid. Great job!
Great job, guys! While there's still quite a bit of polish needed to make the experience more intuitive and immersive, the core gameplay loop is simple but it fits the theme well. My biggest disappointment was the lack of any sound feedback it would have made the experience feel much more satisfying.
Congratulations, and well done!
Overall, a well-made and engaging game. I ran into a few collision issues where the character got stuck against walls (especially around doorways). The character designs are really nice. If you keep updating the game, I'd recommend revisiting the environment's color palette. Since the pacing is quite fast, having very bright and saturated colors for long periods can become a bit tiring on the eyes.
Anyway, congratulations and great job!
