Although we’ve organized 3 Game Jam events, we didn’t have a Discord server where the community could come together. I had already planned to create one, but messages from the community made me realize this was a serious missing piece. So, I set up a server—not overly detailed, but enough for the community to gather.

You can join our community via the link on my itch.io profile or the Discord link in this topic.

Yep, since the game jam theme has already been announced, you’re good to start — no problem at all!

You can open a topic for this. I’ll pin it for you.

Yes, I’ll announce it when it’s ready.

We don’t have a Discord server yet, but we’re planning to open one soon. Creating a Discord server is part of our plans to keep the community connected and share announcements about upcoming events.

I saw that you released a Windows version of your game. I’m glad to see that you’re continuing to develop it.

I have a suggestion:

You could add a start menu to the game. In this menu, you could include a tutorial section (the explanations written on the game’s itch.io page) for players using the Windows version.

I had a hard time at the end of the game because there were so many monsters. I believe it will become a great game once the small issues are fixed. If you keep developing it and release a full version in the future, I’d love to try it again.

Edit: I should mention that I really loved the monster’s design.

I just tried your game and really liked it. If you had been able to share it smoothly before the jam ended, I would definitely have chosen this as the best

Your game’s itch.io profile is not accessible. Could you please fix it?

Can you present your game in HTML5 or as a downloadable version? I need playable content in the form of a prototype/demo or a full game.

I had so much fun playing. I love games with this kind of parkour mechanics. I also really enjoyed the map design. Are you planning to develop this into a longer game with more gameplay?

I had never come across a puzzle game like this before. It managed to impress me.

I really liked the area designed for the end of the game. It was a short and nice gaming experience.

I really enjoyed the game. The way you approached the theme is very well done. The game over screen added in the latest update looks great. After the Game Jam ends, you could continue working on this game and optimize it for different platforms. If the core mechanics remain the same, it could especially work well as a mobile game. I think it would be well-received.

Welcome to Phobia Jam #3. After this Game Jam ends, we will take a short break from Phobia Jam. A new Game Jam series with a different theme will start immediately after Phobia Jam #3 concludes.

All of these series consist of events without any prizes. If you’re interested in game development, I invite you to join Phobia Jam and our upcoming events to have fun and learn.

It was fun. Thanks to the background choice, the holes can become disturbing. You’ve handled the theme in a nice and entertaining way.

It was a very well-thought-out, impressive, and at the same time quite disturbing gaming experience. I don’t have trypophobia, but I still felt uncomfortable. I would like you to keep developing this game and optimize it for different platforms.

Trypophobia is the fear or discomfort triggered by clusters of small holes or bumps. This could be anything from a honeycomb to lotus seed pods or even certain skin textures. While it’s not officially recognized as a diagnosable phobia, many people experience intense unease, nausea, or itchiness when exposed to these patterns.

Phobia Jam #2 starts in just 4 days!! One of the themes listed below will be chosen.

  1. Barophobia
  2. Ailurophobia
  3. Trypophobia
  4. Nyctophobia
  5. Eisoptrophobia

I’m only now getting the chance to try your game, and I apologize for that. I absolutely love these kinds of platformer games. Even though it’s your first game, you’ve done an excellent job.

I found the safe, but I couldn’t see the key. Maybe I missed it because I couldn’t put the game in full screen.

Edit: The key was on the shelf. I must have missed it because the screen was too small. 😄

I had a hard time playing the game because it wasn’t in full screen. Also, I couldn’t quite figure out what I was supposed to do.

A party with spiders? Now that’s what I call fun.

I really liked the game’s 1-bit visual style. It was definitely my favorite among the games submitted during the jam. But there’s one thing I don’t understand — why am I able to edit the text?

It was fun, I tried a few times but couldn’t score over 5000.

The game is well thought out in terms of concept, it has a simple structure and reflects the theme. However, it has some weaknesses in terms of gameplay. There are issues like freezing and the game continuing even after the timer runs out.

As a Pokémon fan, I really liked the way you interpreted the theme.

The fact that there are cats in the image doesn’t necessarily mean that the jam theme is Ailurophobia. I’ve decided on a few possible themes for the jam, but I haven’t made a final decision yet.

The second event in the Phobia Jam series kicks off in 12 days. Would you like to join us?

Phobia Jam #2

If it jumped out in a game, I’d be scared for sure.

The next Phobia Jam starts in 13 days! Our goal is to explore a different phobia in each event and just have fun creating horror games freely.

You can check out Phobia Jam #2 here > https://itch.io/jam/phobia-jam-2

Would love to see you join us again!
