Phobia Jam #2 – Trypophobia

Phobia Jam is a recurring game jam series where fear takes center stage. In each edition of the jam, a different phobia is chosen as the central theme from the fear of the dark to the fear of being watched, or even more obscure psychological terrors. Participants are challenged to create horror games inspired by the selected phobia, exploring its emotional and psychological depth through gameplay, sound, visuals, and storytelling.

Theme: Trypophobia

Trypophobia is the fear or discomfort triggered by clusters of small holes or bumps. This could be anything from a honeycomb to lotus seed pods or even certain skin textures. While it's not officially recognized as a diagnosable phobia, many people experience intense unease, nausea, or itchiness when exposed to these patterns.

• Theme is Mandatory: Every game must be based on the announced phobia theme. How you interpret and represent the phobia is up to you, but it should be clearly reflected in your game.
  
• Team or Solo: You can participate solo or as part of a team.
  
• No NSFW or Offensive Content: Submissions must not contain hate speech, explicit sexual content, or discriminatory themes. Psychological horror is encouraged, but keep it respectful.
  
• Assets: You are encouraged to create your own assets during the jam, but using pre-made or third-party assets is allowed as long as:
  - You have the legal rights to use them (public domain, your own work, or properly licensed). 
  - You credit all external assets clearly on your game’s submission page.
