I think it's a really fun concept, and really well made. I have some feedback.
When the opponent captures my king, they win the game. But when I capture the opponent's king I don't win. Why not?
'Check' warnings would be nice.
En passant isn't implemented.
The 'music' is just the same bar repeating over and over. No music would be better than this.
'Rebirth' is not very useful. The opponent retains all their pieces and power up, and it's extremely hard to grind for enough money to be able to challenge them. I'd have to repeatedly lose a hundred times to earn enough money, and the rebirth tokens aren't helpful enough.
