Really nice for your first game!

Love it, great vibe and it's really fun

Hey are you still looking for a team? I'm a professional Unity game programmer and I'm looking to partner with an artist and composer. My discord is BigBoss@8892. Message me if you're interested.

Your game is EPIC! Can you please add vSync though? I get really bad screen tearing.

Thank you! :)

Yo these visuals are crazy, the artwork is super cool and the post processing gives it that nice finishing touch. The aiming feels slightly off though, my bullets don't go exactly where I click, not sure if that was an intentional design choice or not but it made hitting enemies that were far away kind of difficult.

Great job though team! Really fun experience.

Hi everyone, I'm so excited to be taking part in a new game jam. I haven't been working on any game development projects in a while and it feels great to get back into the rhythm with a jam. Thanks @celeryman for hosting and I look forward to submitting a great game and hopefully winning a steam card to play a new game! :D

I hope everyone has a great jam!

wow great job on another fun game

(1 edit)

thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it :)

Thanks! Ya I agree with you, if I could've done one thing differently I would've made some of the obstacle patterns easier. Thanks for your feedback. great job on your game as well I really liked the card system.

Thanks Annalou_Iza, I enjoyed watching your stream as well :) I tried my best to give every game a chance and rate them with the same framework so my ratings would be consistent. I also really enjoyed Ungravity Forest, you and your team did a great job!

Hi everyone, I also played and rated every game live on Twitch. I find it extremely helpful to watch other people play my game for the first time because their initial reaction can be very telling of the user experience and general engagement of your game. So I hope you enjoy listening to my feedback about your game, I tried to be as constructive and positive as possible. You can watch the VOD here: https://www.twitch.tv/videos/880470387

Thanks for an entertaining stream! I watched the VOD today, I'm glad you enjoyed my game (Storm Chaser) and I took a lot away from your feedback so thank you :)

that’s great to hear, I thought the game was fantastic overall. If I had to rank all the jam games I personally would place Carrot Topped at first place.  Great job again!

Thanks for the feedback! Ya unfortunately I didn’t end up having enough time to do extensive play testing, but myself and a friend still managed to get to 500m so I thought it was good enough. I really appreciate you taking the time to play and leave me some feedback 🤙🏻

Thanks!

Pretty fun game with deep questions at the end, I enjoyed! I would just suggest adding some music or ambient sounds to increase the atmosphere/immersion

That music track though, easy 5/5 for me haha

I was getting a little frustrated at first because I was encountering a bug where my movement speed was very slow and I would lose every time before I got to 20m. I found out however that the bug was caused by having my PS4 controller plugged into my PC while I was trying to play with keyboard. After I unplugged it the game worked like a charm. Besides the bug, I thought the visuals were outstanding and I really enjoyed the addicting gameplay. Definitely made me want to beat the high score on the leaderboards. Fantastic job with this one  guys!

This game was a treat to play, the art/audio and overall atmosphere was phenomenal. Gameplay was a little simple but very satisfying. Overall I had a great time with this one, great job to the developers!

Very cool game, I think with the list of things you said are coming it can become a great game. Besides the visual bug (no enemy sprites) on browser, I had a great time with it!

Really enjoyed the game! I love the visuals, audio, and level design. The scene transitions were also superb. I would only suggest tweaking the aiming system to allow firing behind you as I would often be facing the wrong direction but aiming at the right target, and this lead to a little bit of frustration. Great job otherwise!

Visuals and sound were good, I liked the art style. The game felt very frustrating though, it didn't feel like I was losing because I was bad, but instead because the game was unfairly punishing me. I would also suggest lowering the movement speed because I felt like every little input would send my character flying into a random direction. Great job otherwise!

I loved the gameplay, it was super fun and all the abilities were cool. My feedback is I would like the movement speed to be a little faster and I would change the music track that plays in between levels. The track just feels out of place given the mood of the game, but that's just my opinion. Great job though otherwise, I really enjoyed this one!

It was fun but it was pretty confusing at first figuring out what I was supposed to do, my only feedback would be a bit more explanation at the start. Great job otherwise!

Thank you!

Thank you! I appreciate the review!

Thanks :) I decided to spend more time on polish and visuals instead of gameplay

Thank you I'm glad you enjoyed it :)

Thank you :D

Yup thats exactly how I did it, so I had enough control over the challenge but still kept it random. My friends and I have started reaching the 500s now lmao. Glad you enjoyed it :)

Thank you man I appreciate it :)

I like the visuals, everything looks very nice. I wish there was a bit more to do though besides just pulling the lever and waiting. I would also suggest reducing the time it takes for the slot machine to finish spinning. Great job though!

Thanks dude, I appreciate your support :)

Hi everyone, here is some gameplay footage of the new v0.4 update

Saw this game on vimlarks stream, for 3 hours this is fantastic man great job!

Current best time to beat is 40.5 seconds by Xander de Beer, good luck gamers
