I consider it amazing regardless if you add anything to it or not!

Hahaha, such a good game. I played for an unreasonably long time trying to see if there was a limit to the guns I could wield. I had so many friggin’ guns! Good job on this one!

(1 edit)

Loved the game. Seriously relaxing and actually just straight up GOOD GAME in every sense of the word. No gimmicks or anything like that. It actually makes you think and approach each round strategically. Very good job!

EDIT: Oh, I would just make the cards a bit more readable, otherwise, excellent game.

Veeeeeery cool! The art and idea. With a little bit of polish and some feedback when you punch each other, this can become da bomb! Keep up the good work!

Oh I love the design and feel and the camera and music and the atmosphere!

Grand friggin’ work!

Great game, nice sound effects and music, beautiful art style. Loved it.

Suggestions:

  • Add a sound effect when a cookie is clicked. Like a wet smack like squishing a wet cookie

  • Add a nice fluffy or crunchy visual feedback to the cookie being clicked

  • Maybe change the cursor to something large and visible. I sometimes lose track of where my mouse is

  • Maybe rearrange the scene, I REALLY want to see the cookie dipping, but because I am so hyper focused on clicking the cookies I can’t see the dipping happening :( If the clicking were happening above the cup, then it would be possible to have the best of both worlds

  • Make the cookies come down in distinct lanes and the cursor to snap to the lane one we cross the boundary separating it from the others. It would raise the game feel to a whole other level

AI is great for that! You can use AI for stuff like these. You can’t use it to outright make your whole game or generate your sprites, but for stuff like these Large Language Models like ChatGPT are best. Tell it to:

**Translate these phrases into their Australian English, Scottish English and Canadian English colloquial versions, make sure to include regionalisms, tag particles, linguistic sweeteners, diminutives, stuff like the ‘oi’ and ‘eh’ and so on

Let’s go, shall we? Don’t even think about it! I don’t know what you’re talking about, man! …**

Loving the community. Thanks for the answers guys. We are not worried about winning. I keep telling the kids it will be a miracle if we even finish the damn thing, seeing as how there’s so much to do before the school starts in addition to making this game. We’re thoroughly enjoying the process! This is one of the few places where the participation is rewarding enough.

Gotchu. I guess there are a million ways to bake that pie.

First time jammin’ with my kids. Is this a normal occurrence that there are 25+ submissions in 10 hours?

Haven’t had the time to play any of them, but will hopefully get around to it soon enough. My kids are asking if that’s normal and I’m like “They are either insanely experienced, cheating by having something coded in advance, using AI or just putting out nonsense.” Can anyone with actual experience confirm?

Much appreciated.

You too!
