Thank you for playing! Sorry about the surprise during the gallery 😅 we coded in the functionality for the monster to be attracted to the gallery as you’re shooting. We should’ve included that tidbit in the tutorial text, and we plan to release an update after the voting period is over. This update will make the game feel much more complete, so come back and try it again sometime! :) 

Reading the comments I learned what to do and that made the game more enjoyable, though I agree with FunkyYosh's experience that I took a while to find a heretic at first. I see some good potential with this :)

Absolutely phenomenal. I love the graphics, the punch out mechanic felt good, and the music was really immersive. 10/10

I kept clicking the back button thinking it would undo the move I was about to play lmaoooo it was fun though! I got the chest after a few tries, good job :)

I love this! The game felt very intuitive and easy to learn. I'm also a sucker for pixel graphics and this style of music.

so charming! the music is adorable and I love little games like this. Reminds me of Bird & Beans on the DSi :) 

oh boy! It was difficult for me to get started, but maybe I got unlucky on where the cat spawned! Cute and fun though. Lagged a bit at the beginning but seemed to be fine. Sound effects were a little loud but maybe that's just me. Quite enjoyable overall :)

This is so cute and fun! I got really sucked into the loop of job hunting, lol. Only disappointment was I think I got to CTO and I stopped for a second to answer a text, only to look up and see the game restarted. Weird bug, but didn't affect my enjoyment. Just wanted to let you know in case you want to hunt it! lol 

edit: maybe it was a me problem! My browser said it reloaded due to significant memory usage. Sorry!

I really like the sound effects and music! The "level complete" noises were very satisfying. Neat game :)

Agh, I knew we forgot something! We should've mentioned in the opening text that you can only carry one token at a time. Sounds like we might do a QoL update in the future lol. If you try it out again, good luck with the gallery!

Note: This game has a 720p resolution and will not look right if you don't use the right aspect ratio. Sorry! :)

Thank you so much! To answer your question, the levels are infinite, so you are welcome to go as long as you can. I used an algorithm to randomly generate levels, which is why I chose to not only anchor the starting student in a recognizable spot, but help the player keep track of who has the note. And for your other items:


1. Good catch! I thought I had accounted for that but it seems I didn’t 😂

2. Another good catch! Timing is always an issue for me so I’m not surprised to find a timing bug.

3. I might want more clarification on what you mean by getting caught passing the note. If you mean that points are still getting added to your score as the bar reaches max warning level, I did intend that so the player’s efforts are still counted during their last level.
