Additionally, I got the following feedback from an art director:
"The game has a strong visual presence, well done on that. However, the main menu UI lacks clarity and focus, making it feel both too empty and requiring too many interactions to reach the first level.
Once in-game, though, the visuals are striking. The player character, however, lacks sufficient readability. There needs to be a clearer hierarchy where the player stands out against the background elements. While environmental hazards must remain visible, the player's prominence should never be compromised.
The camera feels too zoomed in, but this is subjective and gameplay related. GG, nice work!"
Hello! The core gameplay is fun for me. I would like to see things like a scores, leadboards and maybe procedurally generated infinite level? If you need a simple free tool for the scores/leadboards, check out SilentWolf. It was built for Godot but it is possible to port the HTTP calls to Unity easily :)
I spotted some technical issues that you might want to iron out in the next TAGAP Build UP. The issues I found are:
1. UI is too small when played on high resolution.
2. The game is playing in slow motion when it is windowed.
I know at the moment the songs are a bit are external assets, but would be nice for them to match the in game beat as it would improve the experience a lot...there are a couple of musicians in the TAGAP's Discord server and a "I need a team channel" if you need some help with that :)
Hello! First, let me say that this generator is pretty nice, however I feel a bit limited to use by exporting stuff and I would love to try to incorporate it in a game as a cosmetic tool. Just wondering if you considered porting the generator to the Unity package or if you consider making the source code available.
