clever take on the theme! there's a bit too many people to keep track of right away & i wish there was more time for you to "learn" people's habits, but other than that it was a nice challenge.

great job! combat is nice and fast paced, and i like the detail of the character losing "fire" as health goes down.

incredible art & aesthetic! everything plays so smoothly. i really enjoyed this & i think this is one of the most unique takes on the theme i've seen.

i like how you get to pick which aspect of of game to make more difficult. really clever idea!

thank you, this means a lot! i definitely want to add more types of art in the future,  though modern/contemporary art is a little bit more difficult due to most of them not yet being in the public domain

thank you! the museum APIs were so useful and well maintained, and i'm glad i was able to showcase a use case for them!

thank you!

glad you enjoyed! definitely,  maybe some tips/hints towards how scoring would work throughout the run would be a good addition.

thank you so much! the more alien/sci-fi elements were hand drawn. the paintings were pieces from NGA's online archives that i cut out in photoshop and layered together canva +the godot editor. a bit hacky, but it worked :D

The Hitchhiker's Guide came to my mind a lot when i was writing for this game so you're spot on! thanks for playing!

yea, i should have made it clear in the intro that you can't restore a painting if it  already has a bonus attached. i'm glad you liked the theme though!

thank you, glad you enjoyed!

that's what i was going for! thanks for checking it out :D

thank you so much!

i'm glad you got to learn about the art in this game! thanks for playing!

thanks for playing, i'm glad you enjoyed!

ramps up fast & the final boss was great! i got the auto clicker upgrade which was a godsend for trackpad.

cool concept & cute artwork on the cards! just fyi, it's scaled a little weird in full screen

the rewind as you die is a great idea! the whole game feels super polished

thank you for the kind comment!

thank you so much! i definitely had a lot of fun writing

this is such a snappy core concept that i think could really take off post jam. your tarot cards are beautiful as well!

simple & sweet game with really great atmosphere! i had one good run then got unlucky with the spawns :<

Amazing art! my favorite part is the woo sound effect, it's so silly. i hope you get to expand this with more tiles and abilities after the jam

using the parallax effect to help hide some of the bugs is so clever! the artwork is easily among the best i've seen in this jam as well. like the other comments say i hope you get to finish the other scenes!

beautiful art! controls are a bit finicky, but the concept is great

great visual art style & atmosphere! i love the animation of the player character, though i thought it can be a little faster.

the main character is so cute! i like the platforming, but the flying/jmp physics get a little weird for me after the jetpack

great level design! satisfying to solve and the difficulty scales really well.

really creative concept and i love the design of the employees! i found moving around/the controls to be a little hard to work with, but that's my only concern

the entire game and music slowing down when the timer gets low is such a nice touch

what a brain teaser. great concept!

super fun animations and i love the different types of bombs/challenges! at the start i was clicking on the phone and couldn't press S, but figured it out after looking at the comments here

what a devastating, beautiful art game. your writing is wonderful and feels so impactful paired with the visuals.

i didn't know about Terry Gilliam's animation before - looked it up and that's a really good shout

thanks for the art!!

thanks, glad you enjoyed!

i think the amount of time allocated to each mini game is perfect for that fast-paced/stressful game feel. some of the mini games themselves were a little confusing/hard to parse at first but i would get it the next time around

really polished & hits feel super satisfying - great job!

so soothing! the petal plucking is especially satisfying too.
