I just noticed that in the pause menu of the web version (the one brought up with TAB) the word for "GREEK" appears as "ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚ", the final Α missing. You should replace it with "ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΑ" in the locales_tr file. It's probably a mistake on my part.

Ok, I made all the changes you described. You can download the files here.
- I translated "GAME OVER" but I left "ON" and "OFF" in English, because there's no way to say it in Greek using only two or three letters. I could have abbreviated the corresponding words but I've never seen something like that before, so I decided to leave them as they are. I'm pretty sure those two are never translated.
- I transliterated "JETPACK", thanks for the suggestion.
- Ok, I left them untouched.
- I translated it. With your explanation, I was able to find the correct word.
- This is a really good idea. I did exactly that, although instead of replacing "WELCOME TO " with a space I used the definite article plus a space ("Ο "), since peoples' names in Greek must be preceded by it.
- I wasn't sure if you meant yes or no, so I just drew them anyway.
Ok, thanks for checking the translation. The "ON", "OFF", and "GAME OVER" don't need to be translated -- they're recognizable enough as they are. As for the "HIGH SCORE", I thought it was recognizable as well but now that I'm thinking about it, I'd better translate it. The "JETPACK" string can't be translated, because there's no word for it in Greek, as far as I know. The only untranslated instances of "TUNNEL" appear in strings "TUNNEL1" and "TUNNEL2" and I didn't know I needed to translate them, I thought they didn't appear in game, they seemed like debug/developer strings at the time. The "TOUCH BUTTONS OFFSET", I was planning to translate it after I was done with most of the strings but I forgot; to be honest I'm not even sure what it means. As of the shopkeepers' name, I actually intended to ask you about it. In Greek, the word order would need to be inversed, that is the shop name would come first and then the shopkeeper's name, but I wasn't sure if the game would allow me to do that. For those strings to be rendered correctly, you'd need to print something like this in Greek: WELCOME TO THE [ NAME OF SHOP] OF THE [SHOPKEEPER'S NAME], which I don't know if it is possible to do. So I left those strings in English.
Also, since you mentioned the other diacritic symbols, would you like me to draw them as well?
Ok, I took "inspiration" from the other locales and created a version of the Greek charset where the accented Ή has the accent mark on top of it like in Spanish and French. I copy-pasted the fonts.json from Spanish and it works fine. The only difference is there's a wider space between lines but that's not really a problem. Other than that it's the exact same thing as what I sent you earlier. You can download it here. I think it should be the one to use on the stable release. Feel free to check it out and tell me what you think.
Ok, I'm done drawing. I redrew did Φ and Ψ using the Latin Υ as a template. Now they're better in terms of those limitations you mentioned and they scaled up without distorting. I used your own Σ and I also erased two pixels off of Δ to make it look more legible -- it looked suspiciously close to a D, I think. Lastly, I made a slight change to the level signs, because the letter π was too close to the letter Ε -- in level 13 I actually had to erase a line at the bottom of the text to make it more legible, which I noticed you've also done in your versions of those signs, so I guess it isn't a bad thing. You can download them here.
P.S.: I also changed a word in one of the strings, so I'm including you that file as well.
Ok, thanks for the feedback. I had no idea. I actually started from the charset.png and just resized it to be 8 pixels wide, then made manual edits, because some of the letters looked bad. I can see now it should have done it the other way around. I'll see what I can do about it. But since you mentioned the letter Φ and Ψ, I can tell you that I also noticed an issue with how they looked, I just didn't know how to fix it. As for Σ, I think I accidentally only added one pixel at the bottom but since it's better to remove those pixels anyway, I'll probably keep it the way you drew it yourself. To be honest, this 8x8 size is quite limiting -- the Greek alphabet is less "minimalist" than the Latin one and this size just forces you to draw thinner letters, which I find makes them look inconsistent with the font style of the game in English. But anyway, if I have to draw thinner letters, I'll draw thinner letters -- or just replace them with your versions. Thank you.
Would it be too late for changes? I discovered a pixel drawing program and experimented a little. I managed to re-draw some of the assets. Specifically, the two charset files -- I redrew Δ, Λ, Φ, Ψ and Ω to make them look more consistent with the rest of the font; the 3 level signs -- I changed the letters from capital to small (ΕΠΔ. -> Επδ.) to make them more consistent with the English versions; and lastly the "new" text -- the Ο is just a little thicker, not sure if it's an improvement or not. I'd like to say since this was the first time I was ever drawing pixel art and there may be imperfections (for instance I noticed that Φ and Ψ don't have a black margin to their right), so please feel free to judge as to whether they can be used in the final release. You may download them here to check them out if you'd like.
EDIT: I also noticed I had made 4 mistakes in the translation, which I've now corrected. You may download the new version here.
Ok, I tested the translation. At a quick glance, it looks good but I noticed that the word for "START" is spelled as "ΕΝΑΡΞΑ" but it should be "ΕΝΑΡΞΗ", the last letter of the Greek word looks identical to the Latin letter H. Also, I think the tutorial sign might be somewhat difficult to read with that bright strip of color at the bottom of the text, maybe you could make it thinner if that doesn't take away from the art style of the game. Other than that, I didn't notice any other issues. Thank you for taking the time to draw all these graphics!
1. I'm so sorry, I forgot to include the locales_tr file. Here is is. The translations you got are correct but rather formal, so I chose to use forms that are more neutral. Also, the translation of Brazilian Portuguese as ΠΟΡΤΟΓΑΛΙΚΗ is wrong -- it should be ΠΟΡΤΟΓΑΛΙΚΑ ΒΡΑΖΙΛΙΑΣ or ΒΡΑΖΙΛΙΑΝΙΚΑ ΠΟΡΤΟΓΑΛΙΚΑ (I used the former). And if anyone ever provides you with a European Portuguese translation, it should be ΠΟΡΤΟΓΑΛΙΚΑ ΕΥΡΩΠΗΣ in Greek.
2. Here is the translation of these words in the exact order you gave them: ΕΠΙΠΕΔΟ (in English it's abbreviated to "lvl.", so in Greek it could be shortened to "Επδ."), ΝΕΟ, ΕΞΟΔΟΣ, ΔΙΑΓΡΑΦΗ, ΣΚΟΡ, ΕΝΑΡΞΗ, ΕΚΠAΙΔΕΥΣΗ, ΒΟΗΘΕΙΑ. All words are in full caps, if you need them in small letters, feel free to let me know. Hopefully they aren't too long. Also I feel bad for making you draw all those graphics. Please, don't feel like you have too -- most people will be pleased there is a Greek translation in the first place, so those graphics being in English won't really matter to them.
3. I didn't really think about credits but you may credit me using my itch.io user name, arirangia. Thank you for wanting to credit me and also for making the game translatable as well as this port in general!
I am done with the translation. Feel free to download it here. I'm including a charset text file as well, because I noticed there's one character I forgot to include in the character set -- and that is Ή, which is the accented version of Η and it means "or". I suppose you'll need to draw it as well. I placed it right after Ω (the last letter) in the charset text file. If for whatever reason you don't want to or can't draw that character, you may just find and replace it with the unaccented version by copy-pasting the characters from my comment, the text will still be understood just fine.
