A textual horror adventure, search through the caves for artifacts to eliminate demons, contains horror, speech and images, this is my first attempt at horror, the game is split into 5 acts, as you progress it gets increasing more difficult, I am hoping you enjoy this type of game and if you all do then I will consider doing more like it.

Sky map - https://archnet.itch.io/archnet-sky-map

  • Whole-sky panorama from the horizon to the zenith, with a 40–180° field of view.
  • 5,000 stars to magnitude 6, coloured by temperature, plus all 88 constellations with figures.
  • 263 deep-sky objects (Messier and OpenNGC highlights) and the Milky Way band.
  • Planets with phase, angular size, Jupiter’s moons, Saturn’s ring tilt and the Moon’s phase.
  • Comets and asteroids with live positions, magnitudes and tails on the chart.
  • ISS and Tiangong tracked live, with pass predictions for the next three days.
  • Meteor radiants, ecliptic, seasonal events and Algol minima.
  • Horizon mask — eight compass directions you can shape to your garden or balcony.
  • Real images on hover and in the detail panel, resolved from Wikipedia/Commons/NASA/DSS2 and cached offline.
  • Red light mode for dark adaptation, and a link that reproduces your exact view.

Planning

  • Tonight’s best, ranked by altitude, brightness, aperture fit and distance from the Moon.
  • Night timeline showing when each target is up, hour by hour.
  • Scope verdict per object: can your aperture show it, and how much detail to expect.
  • Eyepiece suggestion and magnification for the target.
  • Camera framing check: fits, fills the frame, needs a mosaic, or is tiny.
  • Cloud forecast bar for the night, plus dew point, gusts and a plain-language session verdict.
  • Alerts for ISS passes, incoming cloud, dew, wind, aurora and lost guide stars.
  • Watch list with import/export, CSV export and an HTML observing report.
  • Session plan as a calendar file (.ics) with each target’s time slot.
  • Mosaic planner: overlapping panels for anything bigger than the sensor.

Telescope control

  • ASCOM Alpaca, NINA, INDI, ASCOM COM and raw LX200/NexStar/SynScan over serial or Wi-Fi.
  • Smart-scope presets with discovery and an automatic check of what the scope supports.
  • Slew, nudge, park, stop, tracking re-asserted after every slew.
  • Plate solve & sync through ASTAP, with the solution written into later FITS files.
  • Polar alignment from three plate solves, reported in arcminutes with which bolt to turn.
  • Meridian flip assistant and a sky-limit guard that refuses slews into the ground or the Sun.
  • Filter wheel, focuser and cooler control, with autofocus sweeps.

Camera and imaging

  • Any Alpaca or ASCOM camera, INDI cameras, gphoto2 DSLRs, webcams and the built-in demo camera.
  • Camera catalogue grouped by brand; choosing one sets the sensor size and gives the pixel scale and field of view for your telescope.
  • Live stacking with star alignment, sigma clipping and rotation handling.
  • Histogram with black point, white point and gamma, applied live.
  • Dark and flat calibration frames, applied to the stack.
  • Planetary workflow: region of interest, SER recording, and stacking the sharpest 25 % of frames.
  • FITS with full metadata and a WCS from the plate solution.
  • Gallery, folders and session recovery — nothing is lost if a run is interrupted.

Sessions and automation

  • Session queue with exposure, frames, filter, gain and binning per target.
  • Until dawn — the frame count is recalculated from the real end of astronomical darkness.
  • Pause and resume without losing the plan, plus per-target abort rules (cloud, altitude, mount).
  • Refocus triggers by frame count or by focuser temperature change.
  • Guiding with calibration, deadband, aggression, dithering and multi-star centroiding.
  • Observing log, session records and a diagnostics bundle for bug reports.

Learning and support

  • Start here checklist that ticks itself as you use the app.
  • Glossary of every term the interface uses, searchable.
  • Demo camera so the imaging side can be tried before buying anything.
  • This tutorial, the feature list and the start-up log, all from Help.
  • Works offline: catalogue, images and settings are cached; no account, no telemetry.

I would like to announce my first and new game, I am very excited about creating this game, it is devoted to the honour of all 8 bit platform games, an era which I grew up, I loved my Atari 800 computer and this game is a homage to it.

I would like to thank everyone in advance for support that you may show me on the release of my new game, I hope you enjoy playing as much as I enjoyed developing it.
