I'm excited to post a demo for my first public game: Arcanum Solitarius here on itch. It's a 3-boss, 9-round cut of the poker solitaire roguelike I'm building. Like traditional poker solitaire, you fill a 5 x 5 grid trying to make poker hands, one card at a time from the deck. The twist is that every hand scores immediately, pulling cards off the board. I took some inspiration from Balatro and added jokers with special powers and tarot cards, but in the way I wished Balatro had.
I'm building this solo, and I've probably played it a 1000 times by now, so I don't see it fresh anymore, but I still have fun playing it. I hope you do as well. I'd love to hear what you think about it!
