thank you so much!! im happy that feeling came across

thank you too!! ^_^

another wonderful fangame.. i beat it in 24m 40s :D!

can't go wrong with ice

AWAAAH THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!! it means so much to hear!! :D mimi fans having the biggest party

cheers!! ^_^

ah okay! sorry for not posting it in the Q&A thread, i suppose i was worried of it being a long discussion hehe

that answer definitely helps me a bit! the way the page was written i just had a hard time telling how genuine it was :o

i appreciate you hosting a jam like this, it's a really cool idea!! i guess i'll see what i end up making :D

(1 edit)

maybe asking this question in the first place means this jam isn't for me but i still wanted to ask..

i saw the jam and got intrigued by the premise but am getting really tangled up in the definitions of what makes it Good or Bad and able to be submitted or not. im just a not very parody VN minded game maker so i imagined something noisy and abrasive in presentation.... but idk i consider that cool and Good! is this mostly like for joke games? its just really hard to imagine labeling something i personally made even jokingly as Bad

thank you for reading!

this is super cool!! as im writing this ive only played night 1 and 2 but i'm definitely gonna come back a bit later and try and play the others :D

i really like the movement sound cues and the amount of blind spots in the cameras.. makes for a lot of fun guessing and tense moments! the power out sequence especially... quite cool

ive also been curious of how to make a FNAF fan game in rpg maker and i think you did a really good job!

this game is awesome.. it took me a while to puzzle it out and beat it but it's really cool!! really really unique and inspiring idea of what a fnaf fangame can be

how do you hide the corners of a deck? i see the scripting syntax for it but i cant figure it out..

YAY okay!! :D

hi!! i might scale back my idea if this ends up being no but i was curious if having some sort of digital oracle type thing alongside the more physical ttrpg part would be alright?

my idea is trying to recreate gormball with ttrpg constraints, it's kind of ending up as a mini board game. since it's a hot potato type game i wanted the countdown to not be a dice and also be invisible.. the only way ive come up with is making a little program to go along with it that handles that part. basically would pick a random number in a range, with buttons to pass seconds until it gets to zero

would something along those lines be okay? thanks! ^_^

downloaded the new one and tried again, unfortunately it still doesn't work.. thank you so much for trying though!!

i havent messed with anything with the files.. yea no title screen shows up :(

im also using 64-bit windows 10.. i did manage to get a picture of what it says in the command line when it crashes if that helps!

super cute!!! i really liked it :D it kinda reminds me of old action RPGs which is a thing im a huge fan of

the sound design i also really liked! the skeleton defeat and ending jingles were both really really cute to me

i dont think im able to open this? :o i tried to run the exe a few times after unzipping but it just opens a command prompt and a window for a few frames and then both close and nothing else happens..

nice little game! the music was quite spooky which i liked! i didn't play it for very long but i think it had a fun set up :D

i liked this game a lot!! was really impressed by how much there was to it with all the cutscenes and moving characters

i also really liked the whole atmosphere of the game.. both the enviroments and music were really cool and spooky in a fun way!

i really liked this game! i kind of struggle with combo chaining puzzle games but i had a lot of fun! i was a bit confused by the way the swapping candy position worked at first but after figuring it out i thought it was fun! i got up to 91 candies collected :D

the design of the main character and game in general is really cute! i think it fits the theme really well

i think this was a nice little game! i like little arcade dodging games and i thought the obstacles being spinning objects was neat! i for sure feel it being unfinished but i had some short fun none the less

thank you so much!! :D

mmh! gotcha gotcha! thank you!

hi! a decker thing ive wanted to try and use is the Bool type alert modal, with the verb button. how do i check what's returned from it? i see from the documentation that it either returns 0 or 1 depending on which button is pressed, but i cant find out how to get that number in a script and react to it

(bonus question also, is it possible to change the text on the "Cancel" button?)

thanks!

thank you so much!! :D

hi!! thank you a lot!! in the way of socials i dont have much except for my neocities site, which is partially a tamagotchi fan site! you can find it here

this game is really sweet! the atmosphere of it felt really interesting with the music choice, almost a little dreary. the gameboy sprites are also cute! i really loved the little sea animals you can see in the water

this game is so so cute.. i really liked it! i felt very endeared to chimply, the expressions on him are really cute! the game & watch ball inspiration is really fun and evident! i got to 89 after a few tries :D

thank you so much!! it means a lot to hear :D!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! i love this drawing a lot and im happy you enjoyed it!

this is really great! it's above and beyond what i was thinking of (sorry if how i explained it was a little confusing) thank you a lot!

hello! ive been trying to figure out a little way of moving a character around with a mouse, but haven't been able to figure out a way to code it. i drew a little example of what i'm trying to do!

i've been able to figure out how to get a widget to go straight to the clicked point but am mainly struggling with getting a half step idea to work! most of the math i try to put in to solve it makes the widget jump to a fully different point of the canvas before getting to the end point after a half second.

i also wanted to ask how to change the anchoring on a widget since the default top left anchor doesnt work too well for this effect. thank you!

ah that clears it up! thank you so much :D !

hello! i love decker a whole lot and have been trying to figure out how to use Lil as of late

im confused a bit on how scripting with hypertext links works? i understand the syntax for the most part but im just having a few issues

on link test1 do
    alert["ah!"]
end
on link test2 do
    alert["ee!"]
end

this is a short test script but its basically what ive been doing. its in a text field with 2 links, just with the link spans of test1 and test2

im not sure if im inputting the name part right? this does get a response but it only prints the second alert no matter the link i click on

This game is so wonderful... i thought all the story and characters were very well written and i really liked the gardener especially! i got really emotional near the entire end it's really good!! :D
