Thank you so much for the comment! I did try to experiment with making the swing more physics based, but it ended up getting extremely buggy, so I decided to go with this more rigid approach instead, especially considering I didn’t have much time to focus on the game. The lack of checkpoints was intentional (one of my inspirations really was Jump King), but I agree that it ended up being very punishing. Anyway, thank you again for the feedback! After the jam I’ll probably work a bit more on the game and try to fix these issues, and you’re more than welcome to test it again if you’d like, haha.

I liked it a lot, the concept of having to balance on platforms while falling was really good.

I found the game really fun, when I saw the monster for the first time, I got scared! But unfortunately the music stopped after my first death.

The game’s concept is cool, but it’s missing some sound effects to make it more impactful.

The idea of the game is really cool,  congratulations on that!

The concept of your game is really addictive, I spent quite some time trying to improve my score, congratulations!

What a fun concept, the idea is well executed, I loved it!

I found the game super fun, the art looks beautiful, but I think it would be interesting if the music became more tense the lower your health is or the deeper you go!

Thank you very much for the suggestion! When the jam’s voting period is over, I’m going to implement it, I think it’s going to turn out really good! Thanks for the compliment on the sprites, it was my first time doing the game’s pixel art; I’m usually just a programmer haha

Thank you so much, I’m glad you found it fun! Do you have any suggestions to improve the controls?

Thank you very much! Do you think there’s anything that could be improved in the controls?

"I loved the experience of being a fish,  it made me laugh a lot!

"I thought the game was fun! I'd add more creatures with different abilities to control.

Do you think it would be better to have more stamina or for it to decrease more slowly?

Thank you so much!I wanted to add more levels, but I didn’t have enough time. Making the existing ones fun took longer than I expected.

Thanks a lot! I think the last level did end up being a bit too hard compared to the rest.

A style of game I never thought I’d see in a jam! It turned out really well, congratulations.

Really fun! However, I felt there was a lack of enemy variety; it gets a bit repetitive at some point! The artwork is beautiful.

First of all, I loved that the next participant dances while waiting — I think it would be cool if they had more dance variations! The mechanics are simple but fun! The music is enjoyable.

I found it fun, the art is really nice, and the music is enjoyable

What a fun game! I loved the mechanics, while they’re simple to understand, they make the game incredibly tense! The art is flawless, and the sounds are just as good as the gameplay.

I like the idea, it’s simple but fun! I think there’s a lot that could be improved in the game, like having a bigger screen, enemies only shooting when they’re on screen, more feedback, and so on.

I found it fun.

The game’s artwork is really cute! I really like the choosing mechanic!

Simple but fun game! I felt tense the whole time, the artwork is nice and the sounds are pleasant.

Such a cute game! The mechanics are very simple, yet extremely functional! The artwork is super adorable.

I found the game really fun and cute! I just didn’t like that the enemies can destroy your towers.

The game is fun, but I got dizzey because of the camera haha

There are several things that could be improved in the game, like the movement, which feels clunky, spikes without collision in one of the levels, and the lack of a button to end the current loop. However, despite these issues, the game is VERY fun. The level design is functional, and the main mechanic is captivating (even with the bugs), and the music is exciting.

I liked the game, the only part I found a bit annoying was the wall jump detection, but other than that I had a lot of fun! Great job.

One of the most beautiful games with sound effects I've played so far, well done!

I found it challenging in just the right way, with good sound feedback. I just didn't quite understand how it fits the jam's theme.

Simple but addictive mechanics! If you make a version like Rusty's Retirement, I'll buy it.

I didn't understand how the game works or how it fits the theme. And the menu is bad.

Collecting stars is extremely satisfying in the game. I liked it.

I found the game super fun! The level design was engaging and kept me hooked until I finished everything! I thought the art was very charming, but the music was the highlight of the game.
