Hi! Thanks for your feedback. The sun-orbs were your stamina and in the night it consumes constantly. Also, if you run with Shift or use the light attack with the left mouse click it consumes stamina. This is explained in How to play - Controls in the description. Take another look if you have time and check what happens if you run out of stamina! :)
