Hello! Thank you for your interest in the project. The game's development hasn't been abandoned; it's in active development. We're currently developing the game's main vampire storyline. This will take a little longer than releasing the Early Access Version of the human game. Previous bimonthly updates focused on fixing Early Access Version bugs. Currently, the following scenes are ready for the main Vampire version of the game (not realeased):

1) Introduction (character's biological death)

2) Vampire Clan Selection

3) Vampire Training

4) "In the Grave" Scene

5) "Dark Forest" Scene (an alpha-version video of this scene is available on Patreon https://www.patreon.com/VampireRenunciation with a subscription)

6) "Highway" Scene

7) Four new "feeding scenes," where the character hunts in the city to satisfy his blood hunger.

We currently understand that we're unlikely to release the first vampire chapter by the end of 2025. We will try to release the game in 2026.

Thank you very much for your feedback and support!

The sequel is already in development:

  • three vampire clans will be available for play (Lasombra, Tzimisce, Caitiff);
  • 9 different vampire disciplines including 34 vampire game skills have been developed and are being tested;
  • only 5 new game levels are ready for now (for comparison, the introduction, which is currently posted on itch.io, has about 30 game levels available);
  • the companion system has also been added to the game.

For now we want to make more of a non-linear plot, so we plan to release the sequel no earlier than the end of this year.

Hello!
I have a question. I read the "Integrations - Patreon" section https://itch.io/docs/creators/getting-indexed and I have a question about additional in-game content related to Patreon.
I want to publish a game on https://itch.io/, but my game is supposed to have some additional monetization features through https://www.patreon.com/.
At the moment Patreon redirects subscribers to my website, where they receive a game key. Then subscribers gets a key code and enters it in the game and gets some additional game content. And different subscription levels allows subscribers to get different game keys.

But is this method of monetization this allowed on https://itch.io ?

Thanks!
