I genuinely love this game's audio; it's the highlight of the game for me! The graphics are really wonderful too, adds to the feeling the game exudes. One note is that the small, purple asteroids are very easy to confuse with the stars you need to collect. I think adding some small tweaks on top of that like a brief pause when you knock into something before the lose screen would go a long way!

TKWL is a 2D platformer with unconventional controls starring a robot called, well, the Killbot! As the name would suggest, the Killbot is extremely good at killing (one might even say to an overpowered extent), but one day he gained empathy and realized he doesn't want to hurt anybody! And so, you have to manuver the world as this gigantic hulking murder machine... without killing a single soul.
Because of this, you have to be extremely precise with your movement; one wrong move could rack up your killcount.
If you enjoy platformers that are difficult to control and require precision, check it out and give it a rating! (The game only supports PC.)
That's... kinda the entire point?
The whole point of the game is that you're so strong that you have to hold back your movement and move in a very weird and specific way to avoid hurting anybody. It's supposed to be a very difficult game too. I'll give you the attacks interfering with movement though; I thought of it as a "punishment" for letting the attacks trigger, but in practice even I felt it was a little weird and sometimes frustrating....
I made a pretty solid platformer called The Killbot Who Loved (click here) that stars an overpowered main character who's whole goal is to NOT kill anybody! But, he's so overpowered that you have to purposely resist destroying anything.
Interesting little game. I feel like there was a bit of a missed opportunity to make it an actual chess game with one pawn with the ability to teleport on your side instead of 8 normal ones, but what's here is fun!
I liked level 3 and the final boss, the challenge is really solid! The graphics are great, and the controls feel very responsive!
SUPER solid for a 3-day project! The graphics are simple but extremely effective. Definitely the best part of this game is the JUICE of it, it feels amazing to bombard all of the enemies! Really captures the feeling of being overpowered.
One problem I found is the movement; it's very jittery and the game is a little laggy which messes up things even more.
If I could vote in a "story" category this game would probably rank 3 or 4 stars on that! The story's really silly and I like how (i assume) it uses the theme to be a parody on videogames with plot armor. Unique take!
The gameplay could use some work though, the early parts of the game just seem to be a walking simulator, and a slow one too.
I wasn't able to beat it in the about 45 minutes I played it, but this game is EXTREMELY good! It's difficult, but not in a particularly unfair way. The beginning could definitely use some work; I found myself getting a little bored, so maybe shortening the prologue could be nice.
Also, the camera-center destroyer upgrade is quite hard to use; maybe increase its range. But other than that, I don't really have that many complaints! Good job!
also, the music is amazing!! If it's not a premade song like the RTP graphics are then good job! it's really great.
The towering tower is a small game created by yours truly which features a kid named Dylan. Dylan participates in a new competiton, where competitors climb up a huge tower to claim a wishing wand at the top! Complete tight platforming challenges, meet friendly and not so friendly competitors, and win the prize!
This game is an early prototype, so only a small snippet of area 1 can be played at the moment, and none of the story is in the game currently.
