Thank you for playing! I bet the multiple box puzzle would be easier if you used all three boxes on the level, instead of trying to pull crazy parkour moves with just two :D

Hey there! I just patched the game - added some collisions to prevent the player falling under the level, and made some minor changes to fix the game on lower-performance systems. Only got around to it now, was too caught up with work. Cheers!

Thank you for playing! Indeed, all three of us are 3D artists, some of us working for big AAA studios. We deliberately went for the eerie, clinical-looking visuals, I'm glad you liked it!

Thank you for playing! If you liked the game, you can give it a rating on unexpected game jam page: https://itch.io/jam/unexpectedjam/rate/756974

I played the game and rated it! So, basically go against the directions and you'll be fine, eh?

Please check out my game Tie if you like: https://itch.io/jam/unexpectedjam/rate/756974

Thank you for playing! If you want to support the game, the best way to do so is to go to the Unexpected game jam page and give it a rating. This game was made in only two weeks, we tried our hardest to make it interesting and we don't have that many ratings so far, so your help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for playing! 14 deaths, not too bad for a blind playthrough

Thank you for playing! Yeah the physics were all we could do on a short notice . We could fine-tune them but hell knows what we'll break if we do.

Thank you! Making our players smile is indeed the best criteria for success

Thank you for playing, and for finding all the bugs, too! I mean, we knew about all of these issues (we were short on time so decided not to fix them) but you sure are thorough.

Daaaang, we have our first zero-death playthrough! I didn't think anyone would actually figure out how to do this.

Interesting. None of our testers reported anything like this. I think I know what this is - both of those issues must be related to level streaming, as our level segments are loaded in and out of memory dynamically which is error-prone on slower systems. We can most likely patch these issues out relatively easily.

Anyway, sorry you had a poor experience! Lesson learned there.

thank you! I have no idea what you're saying most of the time but your reaction upon seeing that eye behind the door is priceless :D

Thank you for playing! Also, you DID become a manager in the end. You just kind of end up in the same tiny room with a bed and a toilet, the one where you started off (it is pretty dark but you can still see it's the same room if you look closely).

Thank you for playing! Yeah these were rough 2 weeks indeed.

Thank you for the kind words!

Never actually played The Bradwell Conspiracy but I'll give it a try. Thank you for playing, cheers!

The game has been updated:

- added Vsync option (disabled by default);

- added mouse sensitivity slider;

- fixed some janky audio triggers. Also, the player can no longer trigger audio when dead.

Glad you liked it, thank you for playing!

>A portal like with more unexpectedness

And no portals, of course!

(1 edit)

Thank you for playing. Sorry you couldn't finish it. Perhaps we'll add a mouse sensitivity setting in an update or something, that will hopefully help with motion sickness.

Nice! Thank you for playing.

Thank you!

Thank you for playing the game! The idea of that one is that traps destroy one another if you do everything correctly (the press stomping lasers etc.) But yeah, fair point, we definitely have some 90s game design going on in some of these levels and visual clues are not always clear.

Thank you! We'll probably add Vsync in an update soon - wanted to do that but we were short on time so we ended up forgetting about it.

You'll be better off remembering  that you are needed only while you are useful to us. There are no irreplaceable people.

Thank you for playing the game! I'm glad you liked it.

We only published it one day ago as a submission to a 2-week game jam and immediately went to sleep, so we haven't had time to think about promotion. But I see what you mean, thanks for the advice.

I gotta say, you beat this thing like a professional! Didn't really get stuck anywhere, and finished the game in ~20 minutes. None of our testers even came close to this result.

Thank you for playing the game, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Indeed, the narrative of the game is abstract. We intentionally never mention what kind of goods Tie industries produces or what the job you are being "interviewed" for actually is. Rather, the story is about corporate grind in general.

Thank you for playing! Please let us know if you find any bugs with the game.

Thank you for playing!

I'll tell you what - there's an even deeper mystery here.

There are a couple of places in the game where dying is "mandatory" and you cannot progress further without killing yourself. What if I tell you those mandatory deaths aren't that mandatory and you can actually beat the entire game without dying once?
