Getting in to the spirit of the football Worldcup 2026 with a penalty shoot-out game, score as many goals as you can if the goalie saves it's all over!

Absolutely amazing,  I've a long way to go yet in reaching that level of programming.

ZXRAMBLE in BASIC programmed on an  original ZX81

 ZXRAMBLE is a Shoot'Em up as seen on the Animated ALex YouTube channel, your mission is to stop the Alien spacecraft from reaching the lefthand side of the playing area.

i was saving it wrong basically, so my mistake.

LADDERS and DOLLARS  A Platform game programmed in ZX81 BASIC 

Make your way around the platforms climbing ladders to collect the dollars, beware of the guarding stars and be careful dropping off the platforms as you've only the one life to complete 2 levels.

i'm still trying LOL ...as i'd like to make more games for the ZX81.

A few folk who have downloaded the new .p file have informed me that they got it working, such a pain, it must only work on certain emulators i guess. Unfortunately i only have a MAC.

it was created on the ZXSP emulator, unfortunately it doesn't seem to give an option to save as a different file format,   I shall try and convert it to the required file format, even if it means typing it again.

ZX81 Money Grabber 1K BASIC

Simply jump and collect the money (£) and then deliver to the safe (X) if you miss a platform then you lose all your money.

It's just push any key to make the airplane dive bomb, it automatically loops around.

Field Of Skulls by Tim Hartnell.

A Type-in which featured on the 21st March 2026 on the Animated ALex YouTube channel.

Please note that i am not the original creator of this game, it is dedicated to the late Tim Hartnell.  A full description and instructions have been shared as a screenshot on the itch page.  Basically the Skulls will hunt you down, to destroy the skulls guide your character around the field to lure them in to the crosses.

Thank you, i have never played Kokotoni Wilf, infact it is the first time i have heard of it, so i just watched it on YouTube i see the resemblance in the movement.

Miner Willy enters the World of Jet-Pac, although not quite as fast as the classic Jet-Pac as it is programmed in BASIC, nevertheless it is still playable and fun.  Your mission is to  collect the rocket parts to build your rocket and then blast off!!!

All saves on the RGL Spectrum automatically and only save as a TAP file, if a different file format is required you can use an emulator like FUSE to save as a different format.
