Hello, you are the second person to encounter this problem. The other one was on v76 and even if he go to turn this permission manually ON via Android settings, he got a message saying that this permission as been restricted. He has 2 headsets on v76, one with this issue and one without any issue. Both devices are on same build... I can't reproduce myself on all my headsets, just hope Meta won't block this feature. Else it will block many apps...

You should retry. Close and restart QGO, if you have another account on your device, QGO should see it.

Unfortunately you can't do that with Quest APK Installer but with Quest Games Optimizer (my other tool) yes you can share apps between account :-) From secondary ones to primary one and vice versa

Or did you use the QGO "install for user account" feature ? If it's the case, this just means that the game use entitlement check to verify if you are the owner of the game. The install for user account function work but then it depends if the game check who is the owner of the game or not

We don't know... I sent multiple bug reports to Meta. And this worked on v74 after the v74 PTC, they fixed the issues I mentioned. But they did again. So we ALL have to wait... But you know how Meta updates are...

Hello, don't you receive the notification in QGO (top right) mentioning I removed the HD+ profile for Demeo ?

=> The game has been updated to a new engine version. The game now requires more resources... We had to remove the BATTERY SAVING and HD+ profiles and update the PERFORMANCE and HD profiles

So it's normal, you must now choose the perf or HD one, but don't expect super sharp game like before...

Salut, en v76 Meta a encore cassé le package installer, d'où votre probleme. Mais vous pouvez installer l'app via sidequest PC ou bien Meta Quest Developer Hub

If you really don't have any phone, nor PC, it's a problem. How did you set up your Meta Quest without a phone ?

As Meta broke the package installer, we all have to wait for them to release a fix... Nothing else...

If you are on v76, you must do the installation with sidequest PC as Meta broke package installer (again...)

Hello, my Quest 2 is on v74 and ADB is working fine.
If ADB is disabled, you could restart your Quest and then enable it again via sidequest or via the pairing code method.

What prompt are you talking about ? The one when you connect your headset to the PC ?

Hello, Quest APK Installer in working on v74 yes, I created this tool to fix the Meta package installer issues. I didn't understand the last part of your question. Quest APK Installer is only a tool to install apk and xapk files.

Thanks for letting me know. Sidequest didn't work out? I did backup and restore yesterday for the game ToyTrain and was able to recover my files and save data. Wouldn't you have done this from a secondary Meta account rather than an Admin account?

At this point I just ask myself if this doesn't work for some bug games..

You can't play at 25fps, the Quest is capable of 72Hz to 120Hz.

In QGO v12.4.1 you can record videos at 24, 25, 30, 48, 60fps ;-)

What you could do is to create your own DNS if needed or use some apps that manage the DNS rules.

Could you rephrase ? I'm using every day the dns.adguard.com and don't have issue on Quest stuffs like store and horizon for example.

Hi, your email is present in the general settings as a reminder (very useful in case of support (it saved hours and hours of support) and to know what is your account when you switch from one QGO account to another), not in the main screen ;-)

I could add an option in a future update to partially hide the email in the app settings

Anyway, many of the game that we install are displayed under another name. Developers often forgot to rename their app. Example : Resident Evil 4 stock name is VR4, Batman stock name is Manta...

You should retry with QGO and wait for the end of the process, meaning don't close QGO until the process is terminated. You should see a progress bar.

Mais je peux y regarder et mettre une animation dans QGO avec un décompte. Je ne promets rien, car c'est là aussi une demande assez spécifique, mais j'ai noté ;-)
