This is a really cool idea! I like the mix of whack-a-mole style gameplay with a musical puzzle. I managed to break the game unfortunately- the countdown got stuck at 24 and the ghosts stopped appearing. Hitting rewind started the background music again, but the enemies didn't reappear. I suspect part of the problem is playing the game on a laptop- I had to scroll up and down a lot to see the whole screen, which involved clicking off  the game. Nonetheless, I think it is fun and look forward to seeing what you do next :)

Congrats on the game release! Sure, I'd love to check it out :) . I'll have a look in the next few days when I have some spare time.

Thanks for playing! I'm so glad you enjoyed it :)

You’ve been invited to the party of the century. 20 years after the alien crash destroyed the wine industry, a new wine is about to be unveiled. As a fledgling journalist, this assignment could be your big break. There’s just one little problem:

You’re autistic.

And you’re trying to stay sober.

And you’re pretty sure you saw your crush in the crowd.

It’s going to be a long night.

Thanks for your generous sale. I make Twine games and have only used basic fonts in my games thus far. This will definitely add some flair to my next project :)

What a beautiful, haunting version of the Orpheus and Eurydice myth. With only his thoughts- doubts, loves, insecurities - to keep him company in an endless void, no wonder Orpheus turns around. I really liked the ambient sound and the minimalist interface too. Great stuff.

Thanks so much for your feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it :) .

This is really cool! The art is lovely and the songs are really catchy- perfect for a rhythm game! Will have to check out the full version on Steam.

This game has a really wonderful, unsettling atmosphere. Well done to everyone involved.

Thank you so much for the kind words! It is much appreciated :)

Thanks so much for your feedback! I'll have a look into the bugs and formatting suggestions. The Dragon Age music should play on both the game page and the narrative page afterwards- a bridging of my worlds. I'm certainly more of a writer than a programmer so I'm glad most is working as intended :).

I did another playthrough and it all worked properly with the new changes. Very cool little game! I didn't think to take a screen shot, but I think with the boulder in Issue 5 the game was telling me to aim right when I should have been aiming left? I got through and didn't have too much trouble with the later minigames. The Mars/Wild West setting is super fun and I was also really impressed with the music.

Ah, I see what you mean. I was playing on a Mac. There can be some weird quirks between different platforms! I'll give the game another try tomorrow with the new changes :)

Hi, I was having a chat with you on Reddit the other day and decided to check out your game. It's so beautiful! I really love the style. I did find the all-caps a bit hard to read at first. It goes nicely with the comic book style and i did get used to it eventually, but if you can it might be a good idea to offer a font choice. I like how you incorporated letting the player choose their name and appearance, and the world is fascinating. I also liked the large choice of companions- lots of replay value! I unfortunately got stuck on a shooting section too- the one in issue 5 with the wind blowing from the west. i think it's a really cool project overall.

Humpty Dumpty has fallen off the wall. As a new member of the Night's Watch, it is your duty to summon All the king's horses and all the king's men. However, *cracking* the case of the fall might be more difficult than it initially seems.

This is so cool! I love the adorable animals and all their strange thoughts. Sorting through the text fits the 'overwhelm' theme of the jam well, and adds a sense of urgency to the piece. Nice to see all the Aussie animals represented too - although I did feel mightily guilty shooting a blue wren when a few live in my backyard! Great stuff :)
