Hi everyone,
I’d like to introduce a project I’m currently developing solo: Amianto Editor.
Amianto Editor is a web-based development tool designed specifically for creating 2D point-and-click games, with built-in support for JavaScript scripting.
The idea is to build a focused and lightweight environment where developers can design scenes, manage interactions, and script gameplay logic without the overhead of heavier engines. It’s meant to stay simple, fast, and flexible, while still giving enough control to build complete narrative-driven experiences.
At the moment, the project is in active development. I’m building everything from scratch — including the editor structure, the game logic system, and the scripting integration layer. The goal is to gradually shape a stable foundation that can evolve into a fully usable tool for small indie game projects.
Current focus areas include:
- Core editor workflow and scene structure
- JavaScript-based interaction system
- Internal architecture for game logic and events
I’ll share more updates as the project grows, including previews and technical insights into how it works under the hood.

Which features do you think are essential and absolutely cannot be missing if you were using Amianto Editor as an indie developer to create your own 2D point-and-click game?
