Yeah we are aware of the missing boundaries and the missing clue. There were couple of issues besides the quality of art slowing it down. Still, I'm happy we were able to upload something at least :)

Thanks a lot :)

Yes, unfortunately we were unable to finish everything we wanted for the game. The sound exists, but is sadly not in the game yet. Because of the time we were also unable to fix the missing boundaries as well as add stuff connecting it to the theme and the limitation. Thanks for the feedback on the art and the camera effect :)

Unfortunately yes, there is nothing except this room, but I'm glad you liked the art :D

Yeah, we ran out of time to finish it. But I'm glad you enjoyed the art :)

Thanks for playing. We are happy you liked it. We will try to finish the game as soon as possible :D

You will have to wait and see :D thanks for playing and I'm glad you enjoyed the small amount we were able to put into it :)

Sadly we didn't have enough time, but thanks for playing :)

Nice game, very good visuals and fitting music. Pretty nicely used limitation as well. Fun puzzles, but sometimes the wind mechanic was a bit annoying. Still very nice game :)

Pretty good game. Atmosphere, music and art style were really great. Maybe just a bit more guidance would be nice, especially since the map is quite big. But nice work  for two weeks :)

I couldn't get to the end, I was very close though. Still I did like the game.  Art style was very nice. The story is quite wakey and funny. I'm not sure how it used the limitation though. I could see this as a small funny mobile game. Maybe adding some other obstacles later on could be cool. Like going through storm dodging lightnings or a plane or something like that.  Maybe even adding slowly growing beard on the cup could be fun.  Also too bad there are no actual wings. Idk if there is a music but I couldn't hear any. Nice game though.

I enjoyed it. Nice bg music, nice art style up close at least. Sadly next button was not working. What I would say is that forced zooming out was quite annoying. Also in the beginning I wasn't sure if I'm even doing something, since it started zoomed out and I did not see different ant colors. Actually i wasn't even sure if those are my ants or enemies. Also the goal is quite hidden. I did not see it up until I started to wander how long does the first level take. I would make it bigger, or put it over the food. Or under it as a health bar.  Also, I did not see the difference between the ants either. Maybe try adding bigger differences. The limitation was not there, but the idea of it sounds pretty cool. Still, good job :)

I liked the idea of the game. The visuals were very nice and sfx as well.  The main issues were repetitiveness after a few deliveries and the descriptions of the houses.  Maybe each house should have something unique  so they r easier to tell apart. But it was a nice little game :)

One of the best games i played so far :D nice concept and very nice usage of the limitation. It can get repetitive,  but since it's so short, its fine. I did have a lot of fun. Music is great, the main menu music is awesome. The art style is very fitting. Maybe I could see some other hotel tasks being added during each day, like preparing breakfast, fixing stuff in rooms or maybe even dealing with complaints. With possibly special events every few days. Just a few ideas :) Anyway, great work.

Nice game idea. I did have issues with telling demons apart, although after reading the comments it was quite clever. Just maybe it would be good to showcase it in tutorial, or maybe explain it better. Also as mentioned already, tea bags r glitching and although movements aren't that bad, it would be nice to be able to move with cup already selected, so you don't have to always put down. The art style is quite unique and nice. Game music as well. Although kinda loud, I had to turn it down a little. The text in the beginning, does have some mistakes in it, and is bigger then the speech bubble in one instance, although those are just details. Nice game :D

Great relaxing game. The soundtrack is awesome, art style as well. The game does have depth which i truly enjoyed. And the use of the limitation was very funny and creative. As others already mentioned, diagonal movement is really necessary. That plus also names for the items you pick up, same as the other guy commenting, I had no idea what was I picking up. But still really nice game :)

No worries, good luck with the game moving forward. If you have time to comment on our game, please do :) It's unfinished, but Artists worked hard on the assets :D

Nice little game. The art style was quite fitting. The limitation was there, although I guess it could have been used more. I couldn't hear music, idk if it was there or not, but sfx were good at least. The timer counting to nothing basically until u have first pumpkin was kinda weird. Nice game, but there could be more later on. Maybe more types of vegetables you need to protect from other animals. Idk :D still nice work..

I must say I very much enjoyed the game. It was truly amazing. The game music is great as well as sfx. It's simple to understand, nice way of changing levels. Art style is awesome as well. Truly great job. Maybe having a miniboss after a few levels and then an actual boss would be cool, maybe even turning it into something bigger with setting up traps and all during the day and fighting off undead during night. But even without all of that great work :D

Very cool game! The scarecrows movement was quite spooky and shooting them felt really nice. I do also like the art style route u chose. However, I was missing some kind of a reason for why I'm there, why I'm going through the maze. Even a short story explanation would be nice. Granted, I'm a writer so I'm always looking for those things, but still it would be a nice little addition. Also some sort of music would be nice.  Adding UI would also help, how many things did you collect or even what to look for.

Overall nice small game, nice usage of the limitation. Maybe you could make it longer, or add other levels, other guns or even other types of scarecrows. But great job with this one :)

Sadly we ran out of time to add stuff, but thanks a lot for the comment :)

I will rate your game tomorrow, I need to clear my queue for it and its too late rn. But I played it. I like the art style a lot, quite retro cool, and the music and sfx r very nice and pleasant. However, the gameplay is a bit confusing. Yes, there is a tutorial on the website, but I feel like it would be much better to have it in game. Also adding visuals for adding ingrediencies and water as u click would clear some confusion as well. I wasn't sure if I added them to the cup or not. I was also able to hold three items instead of just two which was odd.  Shame the shadow is of a basic capsule and not of a person.

I could see it as a management game, with receiving payment and buying better equipment. A little weird that the npcs just disappear after getting their tea, without any dialog or sfx. I would add some money sfx at least.

Overall nice little game, nice usage of the limitation, but I think it could get even better :)

I edited the post to add it. Cant believe I forgot to include it :D

Hi there, I'm a game dev with 47 jam behind me. I always try to leave a thorough, constructive feedback to help game developers with their future projects. If you would like me to play and comment on your game, send me the link. There are a lot of entries but I will do my best to get to every game you send me.

The only thing I would ask is for you to rate a game from my team. Even though we barely made one room, running out of time for other things, we did upload it to get some feedback at least on the art itself :) We will be however finishing the game in upcoming weeks, so stick around if you want. There is also a devlog I included if you would be curious :) Good luck with the jam placement ;)

Hi, this is a little weird, but I'm searching for a pixel artist for one of my non jam teams and I stumbled upon this antient post. If you will read this message and would be interested to learn more my discord is alpha9797. You can also check out my itch to see my previous work.

Hey guys,
I'm, as you can see in the title, a Game Writer and Narrative Designer. I’ve got almost 2 years of experience, 34 jams behind me, and 20 games out so far. While I originally didn’t plan to join another one for a while, this jam’s themes honestly caught my attention.

If anyone would like to team up, I’d gladly join and help out. I especially enjoy writing absurd humor and sarcastic stuff, but I don’t mind doing serious dialogue either.

In that case it's even more impressive. Nice work. Btw you should try our game too if you haven't yet :)

No problem :) I am quite bad at voice acting myself 😅 btw you should try our game if you haven't yet.

I missed the color change then. For those levels visual planning would make it too easy, I meant it for maybe bigger levels if you would ever continue working on it.

You should also try our game if you haven't yet 😁

Visually and audio-wise really great. Especially picking up blueberries had a very satisfying sfx. Sometimes the enemies didn't react to me being next to them. Also I died when they ate me, but I had no idea they are behind me because of no sfx for losing health or some visual que. However, nice game. Just wish there was more to it maybe. I died almost reaching 400 so maybe it's after that, but I could see more levels, maybe new weapons you can use, maybe using the collectables for upgrades. Still, very nice game!

It was already said, but I agree. The game was not really made for the theme. If you would be considered a food and chased by someone it would be different story. The attacking was not really necessary. The deer was the only thing that wasn't sharp which was an interesting choice. Interesting try for the jam, but the theme could be incorporated better. Still, you created something which is great.

I could play this for quite a while. Nice idea, great having explanation of all the pickups even with an option to not show it again. The runner itself could have better visuals and better music, but overall enjoyable game. Stopping before all the turns was a great choice. Also I'm a guitar player so the menu music was really a treat to hear. Nice work.

Nice game. Although didn't get the point of it really, why are we jumping into pans cross lava. Still interesting idea, the ingredient was floating so the jumps sometimes were off for me not that satisfying. Also the fact that we jump into a pan and suddenly we are a different ingredient is weird but quite funny :D

Very interesting and from the amount of mechanics in the game very impressive as well. But as mentioned before a tutorial would not only be good to have, I would argue is very necessary. Still, interesting game for sure.

Very nice game. I liked the narration, the hints as a part of the game world, very nice. The hits on the rats were missing something to be more satisfying.  You went through them as if they were not there. But as someone said earlier nice introduction of new mechanics. Didn't have time to play whole game but I will definitely get back to it to finish it. Art work and music together with voice over were really great.

Also apparently many people missed those hints which to me is kinda weird. Especially the skip button since its written right in the middle of the screen pretty much while u wait for the first narration to be over. Great work!
