Ok, using a metafile couldn't be a good idea for you. Then, I'm seeing another way to take advantage of using the tag and/or Category index.

For example, could you implement a multi-select system?

Hi, congrats for the application. If I can, I would like to request/suggest a kind of index implementation in the folders.

For example using a `_Sidebar.md` file as we use on github wiki pages

Or maybe another method, I have a lot of documentation generated on Cherrytree and markdown files(for git wiki repositories) And I think that Deepdwn could have something similar to organize the books.
