What a fun, kawaii game.

When I first started I thought I was in for a diner dash type of game. But even that mechanic wasn't so great due to me either not knowing how to bake bread or the animals got too impatient. Either way, that wasn't really needed.

The combination of 3D and 2D animation was executed very well. Speaking of executed I managed to only get 2 of the 5 endings which makes me want to try for the other 3. There aren't a lot of games that make me want to do that.

This is a good, medium-length game if you want to stream it alongside other games. I think you would have a blast and others will enjoy it.

I don't want to say what the twist was, but there is a twist.

Overall, play Bonnie's Bakery for meet buns. Have a wonderful day.

Interesting game with fun story and no music.

I read the reviews about this game being poorly optimized and was expecting for it to crash during game play. But lo and behold, nothing happened and I was able to play the entire game without any issues.

Now for the critique:

ARTWORK:
Fun artwork, I enjoyed the watercolor backgrounds and foregrounds. Animation was solid and felt like the developers wanted to give the game a 1920's animation feel.

GAMEPLAY:
This is essentially "Fetch Quest, the game". You use your mouse to guide yourself left or right. The game "world" is rather small, but that's okay. Small games are okay.

STORY:
Parsnip is just a guy who is adorable with bows on boots. Who wants to eat a cake and nothing is going to stop him. This game teaches kids how to make friends and living ignorantly blissful of one's surroundings. Multiple endings made this fun.

MUSIC:
IT DIDN'T HAVE ANY. This game was so quiet I could hear my own thoughts. There was a section where I could hear and that was cool, but the same effect could have happened with music.

OVERALL:
I would recommend playing this if you had 45 mins - 1 hr to spare. The story was fun, satanic, and there was cake involved. I wouldn't want to live near  Parsnip though, I'm on LaRose's side.

P.S. 420 blaze it, find Tom Preston.

A fun short game depending how you play it with excellent character designs.

Expectations were low when I downloaded Woodsy. I only got it because the previous game I downloaded was also pixel-art related so I sort of wanted to stay on topic in terms of game art. But It was fun! It reminded me of a haunted game of Undertale.

Game lasted probably 10 minutes first playthrough, then 5 the next. I'm sure there was more to check out but unfortunately there wasn't really a guide to lead me through the game. Except for the fetch quests.

art style was excellent. I enjoyed the combination of 2D and 3D art. The flat 2D pixel art was very unique. Character design blew me out of the water. Each character was fun, my favorites being Peter and Thomas.

I wish I could have seen a more fleshed out story line other than find bones. I would have loved to know more about the world and whatever else is going on. I honestly hope to see more of this. I still have no idea what the deal is with the hooded guy and why he was following me.

Overall this was a fun game but I don't think I would really recommend it to play. Only because the gameplay is so quick, I don't feel satisfied. Maybe if this game if more fleshed out and there's a story to go with it. There are plenty of people who have played this on YouTube that you can go watch.

But by all means, don't let this critical analysis stop you from downloaded and enjoying 10 minutes of game play. :)

There aren't a lot of point and click games around that don't involve searching for missing items or escaping dungeons. Most of them are incredibly basic for using an out-of-date game system. That being said, this was incredibly refreshing to play.

The art was good with it's pixelated style. Each room had their own depth, and personality. Although the character art style left much to be desired.

Game play was fun but common; using a chain reaction to go from one point of the storyline to another. Very much like a complicated fetch quest, but still good.

Story was fun. The twist at the end surprised me as did the second twist.

My critiques would be to probably add a little glow or indicator to let me know if I can interact with an item. I clicked on the deer head too many times wishing something would happen to it. But I still liked it!

In conclusion this game was fun for an hr. I'm glad it was a browser game and not something I needed to download. Music was great, story was great, game play and art style were decent. Recommend playing it if you want a light-hearted ABC family type game.

Tom Preston would maybe like it. Maybe.

Interesting concept but it made my stream bad and my viewers were very cross.

I got this game because the art drew me to it. It is very different than what I have seen on this website and reminds me of early 2000's cellshading games.

Controls were extremely easy to figure out. But I did get dizzy playing it, but that's probably because I'm old and get dizzy on elevators.

That being said, I hope this game is developed more. I liked it, my viewers didn't. In fact, I'm going to end this review with their comments:

"When I think of moths, I think of sexy moth girls and lamps. This game featured neither of those things and now I'm just sitting here wondering what the designer was thinking."

"The three frames I saw were not terrible."

"This dev is not catering to their core audience, which is the guy who likes sexy moth girls"

I wanted to write a long review of this game. But to be honest there isn't anything that I can write that others haven't touched. Basically it all boils down to needing a comprehensive story to help guide the player.

The music was okay, the art left more to be desired, and gameplay was simple.

That being said, it can be better but I doubt that there will be any 'updates' to this game any time soon.

(may make the monster a smarmy blue bear. No one will see that coming.)

It seems that my biggest concern with the the game has already been addressed: romanticizing serial killers. The whole gimmick of this game is to seduce serial killers but the characters have names that reference real killers that ruined lives.  All you need now is to add the guys who shot up Columbine and Casey Anthony and you'll be all set. In all honesty, it is sort of disgusting.

The developer says that they will change the names which is all well and good, but then it leaves the characters being one-dimensional anime harem tropes. You get smart girl, lolita, horny, tsundure and straight guy. If that is what you were going for then this will continue to be a one-dimensional game with killers and rhythm games thrown in.

As for the rhythm portion of the game, it felt clunky where instead of the usual 4-key pad we had to use 5. Pretty unusual for a rhythm game. The instructions for reaching the boosts were complicated and didn't seem to specify as to why the boosts were needed in the first place. The songs were too long for my taste and seemed like a added ploy to attract players to this game.

The art was good and that is what drove me to play the demo in the first place. However more could have been done in terms to character designs. It looked like the characters that had more detail and personality were the designer's favorites, while the less favored characters got the bare minimum or were rushed.

Since this was a demo I didn't get a clear cut of the story. Obviously as a dating sim you want those spicy bits but some of them seemed too forced. The dialog wasn't that entertaining but I'm chalking that to the game being only the demo.

Overall, this game can have some potential. But these characters obviously need a re-write so they can be just a little bit more interesting than 'horny goth girl who wants to kill you'. At the end of the day, it is an interesting concept: seduce serial killers. But at the same time it also adds to the growing culture as seeing these killers like celebrities or even having a romantic feeling towards them. It's on tumblr, you know what I mean.

The premise is good, but I didn't find this at all scary. The gameplay reminds me of FNAF where you as the main character is locked in one location and can't do much else expect interact with random objects.

The "lore" of the game seems weak to me. Randomly placing pages around the area is a move many others have done before and can be seen as a cheap way to progress the story. Why not have a shift report page from another security guard that explains what's going on. That way it's a part of the environment and you can add more supernatural events like another handprint.

The endings were unique but it seemed that the only options were to either 'die' or 'die harder'. I played this game more than once hoping to get a separate ending but was underwhelmed by the lack of it no matter what kind of pattern I did.

Also there was this thing where I stood in front of the cars as they were approaching me and the car would push me and somehow I was stuck inside the hood, unable to move. The only way to get unstuck was to reject the car. Natasha dropped the ball on that one.

Overall, it is a interesting game that could use some improvements. The 'horror' bits were unsettling, but nothing to lose sleep over. I get the feeling that other players might have been exaggerating when they saw they blue car. The design was great, had that nostalgic feel going and captured 1990's aesthetic.

I would recommend this game if you had 15-30 mins to spare and you want to basically play out a 'scary' game. But in all honesty, this will be the only time I will play this, however I look forward to seeing what else the developer has in store.

Also, does anyone know where Tom Preston is? I just need to talk.

- Thank you.
