Cool! Simple, but quite addictive, and super polished presentation! I think you could play around more in the variety of upgrades there are and what they do-- I didn't see much use to the ones that increased your money if you were more than a second off because once I got the hang of the game i was usually within a half second.

Thanks for playing!!

Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

Woo! What a ride. Loved the fast paced action that the core mechanic requires. I figured out that sometimes it was more advantageous to just make a run for it rather than waste ammo/time on killing a guy, which definitely plays into the "speedrunning idea." Nice job, and great marketing ploy with your GTMK Speedrun submission.

This game would be perfect if you included wave-dash mechanic.

Fun! The visuals and game feel were great, especially the satisfying flash that happens. As others have noted, I think it's a little too hard to tell who is who with the small visuals, but it still ended up pretty fun because instead of being confident in my choices each round ended up as a little experiment like "oh hm ok i guess that wasn't a ref, good to know."

A really lovely game. Super polished, the animations, the artwork, the music, the way the music gets warped when you're pausing time is all awesome. The core game is quite difficult, but really gratifying when you finish the level. Nice job!

Fun chill game! Really well presented-- the buttons, sound and screen transitions all feel very professional! Would love to see the idea expanded into more complicated geometries for more variety!

Stunning visuals, great music, really cool idea! I'm a biologist so I loved the core concept and what you were going for. I think it could use a bit more explanation in the tutorial because the systems are a little hard to figure out, and because you're on a tight timer there's not really time to read or digest the text that is there.

Very cool mechanic that makes for some really interesting and fun puzzles. My only complaint (maybe skill issue) is for even on the early levels the timing needed to be so precise that I basically had to go frame-by-frame, which felt a little too difficult for so early in the game. Nevertheless, the puzzles were designed really well and I very much enjoyed playing! Nice work!

Fun idea with a solid demonstration of how it would work. I like the balancing of where throwing different numbers of dice put you in different risk/reward brackets. This idea definitely be expanded on into a full game.

I love whatever is wrong with you. This was hilarious, nice job.

Lovely! Really good feel, love the sound and animation when you pick stuff up. Frankly I've been so used to games on a tight countdown clock I was speedrunning multiple levels before realizing I had all the time in the world. I can see how you could make a lot of cool puzzles from this, or even add challenges like limiting the number of operations etc. Nice job!

Fun! Music and vibes were cool. I wished there were more types of challenges along the way besides the counting numbers minigame, but overall really polished and addicting!

Ah darn, I seem to be getting the same bug as others, where I can't start the reaction on the alarm clock level, but it's really a shame because this is an excellent idea! Even the tutorial got my wheels turning about all the creative challenges you could make with this. Would love to be able to play a more complete version someday!

Whew! Really tense experience right there. really well executed. Perfectly tuned sound design. Almost felt like a rhythm game. Loved it, wish there was more.

Feels almost like a fully baked game! Lots of strategies and came across many different upgrade options over several runs. Nice job!

This is really a special little game! I was curious so I played through a few dialogue tree options and I was surprised to find they all end differently, and each one evokes different feelings. Things are left just ambiguous enough that as the player you end up projecting your own past/insecurities onto the characters. As a short, emotional experience, this works so well. Never really played anything like it.  Awesome work!

Very fun and unique concept, the main character is fun to control and i especially liked his little dash. My one small criticism is it there could be more visual information of explosion hitboxes because it was hard to tell whether a cannon shot would damage me or not based on where it landed.

Makes sense!

Cool concept, really like the limited number of bullet slots and the variety of augmentations. A few suggestions -- I couldn't tell which of my bullets was going to shoot first, and as far as I could tell you couldn't move bullets around in the shop except when you buy them. It would be cool if there was some strategy to choosing the order of your bullets as that might unlock strategies/synergies. The second thing is when you run out of bullets the round should probably just end if theres nothing else you can do. In one level I ran out of bullets and then had to just watch the enemies run away with the money which took kind of a long time. Overall, solid work, fun to play!

(1 edit)

Unique and creative central mechanic, never played anything like it before! Quite difficult, but I had fun. Died almost instantly in my first round, but after a few rounds I  started to get the hang of it. Really nice visuals and sound design.

My favorite game of the jam so far! The pace and movement feel great, a good mix of different mechanics and challenges, the commentary was hilarious and the music was great. In one level i did accidentally end up off course which ended up being faster-- which based on your description sounds intentional! Awesome game!

My one criticism is the switching between the 3rd person and 1st person mechanics was a little wonky, and the transitions sort of killed momentum, which i imagine for a parkour game you would the transitions to be as mooth as possible.

Thanks for playing, appreciate the feedback!

Thank you for playing, glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks for playing, really appreciate the feedback! I agree, with more time I’d really like to implement the rules more clearly to avoid that confusion.

Will be sure to check out your game too!

Love the game, love the physics of it. Very satisfying to control.

So awesome and so simple! Love the powerups in the shop, especially the ghostly one. Could easily see this as a whole game by adding more powerups and synergies. Nice work!

Cool visual novel! Remarkably polished for the time constraints, really nice artwork and sound design.

Frantically trying to press whatever buttons will keep me out of space for longer makes for a surprisingly fun little experience! It would have been nice if there was more explanation of the suspicion system.

Surprisingly addictive for how simple it is. The movement and controls are smooth and just fun to handle, nice job!

Fun little puzzle/math game! Just a small comment on the lighting-- on my screen the number slots sort of blended into the background so i spent a solid minute on the first level not understanding where I was supposed to put the 6s. But once I was in I had a lot of fun, especially trying to work out as low as possible.

Awesome game! The central mechanic has a lot of potential and would love to see a full-length game that incorporates it. Extra nice touch that the music speeds up and slows down with time.

Cool game, really clever concept, the controls were a little hard to get the hang of but once I figured it out I had fun!

Cute game! love the artwork.

Good suggestion. Thank you for playing!
