This crash is actually not a bug, but an incredibly rare joke/easter egg occurrence, as stated by the crash log message. It happens upon contact with the lil creatures and the chances are in the decimal values. You're the first I've seen that experienced it and I'm still stunned it actually happened to someone lol!
I'm not working on this game anymore, so idk what's happening with the control scheme reset, but thanks for mentioning it and playing the game :)
