I just released Pulse Rift, a neon rhythm game made in Godot.
Play it here: https://akkez0r.itch.io/pulse-rift
Every level comes from the song itself: the moves land on the kicks, snares and bass, and the level follows the melody too. You switch colour to slip through PHASE gates, slide between LANES as the melody climbs, surf the wave, flip gravity on the drop and answer the song in ECHO.
- Any song: pull tracks from the Newgrounds audio portal by ID, or use your own MP3/OGG files
- Level editor: pick a move, click on the song where it should happen. Beat your level, then publish it
- Play levels made by other players, rate how good and how hard they are, leave comments - and play them offline
- Online races for up to 8 players, ghost challenges, leaderboards and friends
There's a one-song demo you can play right on the page, and the full game is free for Windows, Linux and Android.
I'd love feedback, especially on how the levels feel with the music and how easy the editor is. Thanks for checking it out!
