I came for the beautiful art this game has, the visuals are undoubtedly very pleasing and elaborate. but I HAD to quit because the story sucks. oh my god, I couldn't stand how boring and cliché this is. it's unnerving. the puzzles are stupid and everyone sounds edgy. not even the gourgeous art could make me stay. very disappointed.

this is such a gem. I love everything about it. I love the feelings of nostalgia depicted and discussed throughout the story. I love all the references to russian culture, which I'm very fond of. the gore and the eldritch horror. and Nika!! she's so genuine. her character and personality really surprised me in a positive way. sometimes she would say the weirdest things and yet it didn't feel misplaced nor artificial. you really managed to write her in a convincing and cohese way even when she was such an oddball. the way you used AI's natural gift of generating body horror on those VHS movies was very on point too. not to mention the art, it looks soft and charming. this is on par with the greatest horror rpgmaker games out there ❤️
(reminder: this is meant to be constructive criticism. I'm saying all this because I'm looking forward to the full game)
things happened too fast, it didn't allow me to grow fonder of the characters, so I think the pace should slow down a little.
hinata's inability to guess what truly happened to ms. shiraishi right off the bat is strange considering he's a demon who feeds on fear, this should be ovious to him because he's supposedly a very evil entity. a human's doings should be child's play for him, I think.
kousuke's reactions at the hospital and at the bar are good, but his reactions at his house right after felt a bit contradictory seeing he was reluctant to go out with hinata at first. I get it that he's clingy and needy but it all happened too fast to be convincing. like dude's a literal stranger you know.
anyway the game's mood is great, dark BL is great, the art is great, hinata wanting to find him a hunting dog is a novel concept and I see a lot of potential in this VN but I just wish its pace would slow down a little more to let it all sink in. it feels a bit rushed.
