About the Project:
Hi. I am a professional writer (4 years experience, 2M+ characters written) developing a psychological horror visual novel. We will release the Prologue first to gauge audience reaction before moving to the full game. The prologue is the start of the story, ending on a major cliffhanger, and is an integral part of the full project.
- Prologue Script: 100% complete.
- Overall Plot: 60% complete.
Project Details:
- Scope: 2 main characters, limited locations (focus on atmosphere).
- Freedom: Artist has control over character design and palettes.
- Active development starts in late July.
(There are several artists on the team, this is done to evenly distribute the workload.)
Update History:
- Update: Added a comprehensive asset list (including UI) and a marketing plan. Also have several musical sketches ready.
- Update: Prepared a detailed project overview (Notion) covering the narrative core and technical roadmap.
- Update: Added the game's atmosphere mood board.
- Update: The technical specification for all assets for the prologue is completely written.
- Update: All music for the prologue is completely ready.
