No, thank YOU for playing the game and giving feedback!
I really appreciate the feedback about the final boss :D There is actually a ceiling that stops Bumbleline from going too high in-game, but I think I must have put that wayyy to unreasonably high. The reason it seemed like the final boss wasn't taking health was because the space between the boss's health hearts made it so that you couldn't see the boss taking damage for a bit.
(After I read this, I used some of the feedback you gave me about the final boss, and it felt MUCH better to play, so I'm probably going to add a patch for that)
I'm lwk a little surprised you LIKED the ladybug character (Coccinelle), her character was designed to be an unlikable person that you still have to help for the greater good. But I guess her dialogue was funny enough that she was an enjoyable character.
I'm glad some parts of the game felt like playing a Sonic level, because (as said in the description), Sonic 2 was a big inspiration for the game. I think I will add some sort of epilogue or ending cutscene that you can watch after the game ends in future updates, that way you can see all the friends you saved. :)
Overall, I'm going to take this feedback into consideration when I make future updates for Bumbleline, and even when I make my next game.
Nice game! Its art style is very unique, and the music is beautiful, but some things in the game just don't make sense. Like, why do you die when you touch a water stream? Wouldn't you get absorbed? And if getting absorbed kills you, why don't you die when you touch other water droplets? And the final level was way longer than it had to be. And it didn’t really have any unique or interesting mechanic or combination of mechanics either. All you really did was walk, collect water droplets, jump, wait, jump again, wait some more, and then go to the next level. In conclusion, the art style and music are very beautiful, but it was lacking in interesting mechanics.
Total Score: 3/5.
