Street Enemies!

(1 edit)

Quest Keeper UI

Added a UI to the Quest Keeper device that lets you call different characters to you to get access to new quests and quest updates and most especially the adventure corp store. Also thinking about adding 'special events' to the UI inspired by the Mario Galaxy solar system map to sprinkle in easily accessible bonus content which  could work well for things like holidays, quests that only happen on the full moon, etc.

I feel some parallax scrolling would go a long way for the backgrounds!

What's the inspiration for this game? Will it be more level based with arcade action or adventure exploration? Would love details!

Yo yo,

Been working on an AR RPG for a bit that takes inspiration from Link's Awakening/Earthbound/Animal Crossing with the twist that it's in augmented reality meaning the game is played out in the real world as you navigate through your day hopefully adding fun to those mundane moments of life. Also has a cool art style inspired by polymer clay models you'd find advertising games in Nintendo Power

Currently me doing programming, art, animation and FLOOR BABA doing music (an incredible composer!!)

  • Get an awesome vertical slice out in 2-3 weeks so people can test it
  • Would love to have some cool promotional art for the game, if you are good at that or know someone would love to commission

Love the art style and general story gist. What's your approach to the 3d modeling/workflow, especially with the guns? Any interesting inspirations for how you've designed them? Look forward to trying it sometime!

Thanks for the quick response, happy to hear you found the fix!
