Congratulations on your first GMTK Jam!

Also, the game is really fun, even though I was barely able to keep up. xD

Just one little thing: dragging the yellow character was a bit difficult, as it was not very responsive and would constantly keep resetting as I was dragging it.

But a really well-made and fun game for one of your first jams!

Best of luck!

Really challenging but amazingly addictive as well. Love the visual design, it is just so clean and captivating. Overall, I really enjoyed your game!

Best of luck for the jam!

I have died about 10 times so far, but I can't stop playing. Hella addicting game y'all made, and I hope you develop it further post-jam. I can see it having a Tetris-like replayability.

Cheers and best of luck for the jam!

Thank god this game exists, otherwise I would've never kissed my homies goodnight!

Adore this game!

It is just so zen and captivating. I really hope you develop this further after the jam!

I absolutely ADORE this game; it is so simple yet so captivating; it really got me hooked!

There is so much potential here; please tell me that you will develop this further post-jam.

Really fun game, love the frantic resource management! Hope you develop this further post-jam; I feel this has the potential to be huge!

Adorable and really polished game! Very nostalgic graphics and UI. Love the replayability!

Best of luck for the jam!

This was a pretty good game, like, it didn't even feel like a jam entry! Extremely polished graphics, UI and audio design. The game is a wee bit hard, but I like it; I would love a quick restart button and gameplay modifiers if you plan on expanding it post-jam. Overall, really enjoyed the game!

YAY! Another dev with similar mechanics; great minds truly do think alike!

Jokes apart, while our games do have similar core mechanics, I am in awe of your execution. The crunchy graphics, amazing DMC-esque enemy designs, and quite a banger bg track!

Wish you the very best for the jam.

Love the atmosphere and vibes!

The build was running a bit poorly, despite changing all the settings to low.

Also, how do I pet the goat?

Genuinely love everything about the game, especially the humour and art style!

Also, did you make the music yourself? It is a banger!

The cinematic quality of this game is immaculate! I immediately forgot that I was playing a game made in just 4 days; it was just so captivating. Loved the sound design and the graphics; they were just wonderful!

I just faced a bit of an issue: on the first try, I accidentally exited the game while trying to pause it. The second time, the game was in a weird boot loop; I could play the game, but every few seconds I would get the wake-up cinematic. But I am still gonna attempt a third time. STRAYFOX, you have made an absolute banger!

I am glad you like my game!
And thank you for the feedback!
Post-jam, I plan to implement difficulty levels to ease players into the core mechanic and a robust playable tutorial to introduce all the quirks of the game!

Thank you!
The ridiculous art style I initially had in mind called for a ridiculously sized gun, but I couldn't quite implement it during the jam.

And I planned on adding a choice of buffs + debuffs on every rewind to give it a roguelike charm, but I ran out of time, so I just randomised them. I will be sure to tweak them post-jam!

And honestly, thank you so much for letting me know that character cutout shader wasn't working in this build. I will add a note in the description and rectify this post-jam!

Thank you for the feedback!
Post-jam, I would ideally add difficulty levels and a compass so that the player knows which directions they are supposed to go in!

Thank you!
And as much as I would love to claim that the gun placement was planned, I am afraid I just ran out of time, and this was the optimal height for hitting the enemies!

Etheremia & Majulizi, you have made a gem of a game!

I absolutely adore the UI and the art style; the sound design is immaculate, and the gameplay is really fun and had me hooked!

I genuinely think that after a bit of post-jam polish, this game would be ready for a commercial release.

Really enjoyed your work and best of luck for the jam!

YAY! Another dev with backrooms aesthetic!

I got hopelessly lost on floor 10; gonna go back to it again!

But really,  love the ambience and movement tech you made, mate!

Also, for the level design: did you use proc-gen for the layout, or are they completely handmade?

Love the retro-esque graphics, and I was hooked by dungeon 2. The audio was a wee bit low when I played it, but I do not know if that is a universal thing or if it is just something I noticed.

Mate, you have made a fantastic game and would love to see this developed more post-jam!

Love the art style and concept; I definitely want to play an expanded version of this game.

Also, is the playable character supposed to be very short, or is it a bug? Because it felt like everyone was towering over me.

Best of luck for the jam!

GAME DESCRIPTION

Time is Ammo. Life. Everything.

You are trapped in a strange dimension, caught in a relentless temporal loop. Your only way out is to fight through shifting rooms and survive the gauntlet before the clock runs out.

But there’s a catch: everything costs time.

Every shot you fire, every hit you take robs you of precious seconds. Killing entities gives you some time back, turning every encounter into a frantic calculation between aggression, survival, and speed.

Each room offers a choice. Clear every enemy to unlock the main exit, or find the hatch to take a risky shortcut.

Survive a room and your remaining time carries forward, along with buffs that strengthen you for the rest of your run.

Run out of time, and you rewind, thrown back to the beginning, carrying a new combination of buffs and debuffs into your next attempt.

Shoot carefully. Move quickly. Break the loop.

Tick - Tock
