Help! I think I have a bug where jumping while holding left and run results in no jump, but it works when holding right?

You just accidentedly built one of the most addicting gameplay loops ever. I cannot believe this is an alpha test. I literally love this no end.
I like how boss points encourage you to switch characters. I was intially opposed to the second character, but then realized I could build my attack extremely high for him. High risk, high reward. I love it.
What does EP in the top right mean? I see it go up as the remaining encounters goes down. It confused for me for a while, I though EP meant the remaining encounters, which lead to a couple unexpected deaths.
For a early alpha, this has a lot of charm to it. I'm excited for a full build of the game!
Every now and then, the screen will freeze when I am talking to someone. The game is still running, I can still move, talk and interact again, and I can still hear the music, so I know the visuals are the only frozen thing. I assume temmie isn't updating the game anymore, so I was wondering if anyone knew what was
Some thoughts:
I feel like val's air kicks used to be very cool, and then a few crap comments got this ugly, messy, kick. Could you bring back the original kick than val used to do?
It would be cool if divekicking meant you could dash one more time. I don't tink it would make the game cheaty. Also you're going to move the whole old combat system to new physics build right? (Minus the redone attacks).
Val used to be so much faster! Can you still have the smooth physics with the same speed? Val's foward jumps and dash used to have more momentum. I also wish val didn't slide across platforms when we stop moving.
I remember when val had three kick attacks. I agree that three kicks in mid air is op, but couldn't you make mutiple keys to chain in order to attack? And als

So first of all, I just wanted to say that I love this game. Val is the fastest and most fun metriodvania character ever, and I can't wait for it to release on steam. Here are some of my thoughts.
Bugs:
- Val will shake, turn and vibrate as she rises or lowers on elevators.
- Meteor dashing doesn't use one energy. It also resets Rena's stun timer, meaning you can kill her in under 10 seconds.
- Why is it that the bug the prevents us from buying from rob still here?
- Ritcher will clip to the other side of Val if you try and corner him. Not sure if this is a bug or a lack of animation, but I think an animation would help this as it wouldn't feel like Ritcher is warping.
- Lauren is at the place where Val's gets her double jump (forgot name of the place, sorry), but won't talk to us?
Improvements:
- I feel that the boundries for the fight arena's should load on the last line of dialogue, not after, to prevent player's from clipping through the wall's. I think a skilled enough player could pull this off (I could before).
- Why is Ritcher's fight arena so small? I get that players were avoiding him too much before, but this is way to small. So many other metriodvania games have bigger fight areas. I don't know if this is too much work, but could you Ritcher upper cut if Val's trys to dive kick and jump over him.\
- I find it annoying that Val can't dash after dive kicking. It would useful for speedrun's if you could dash again after divekicking a sludge block.
I have one last question, but this is mainly directed towards the players. My question is, where is Sevencrane? Why hasn't there been an update, or at least a patch, in so long? Is he busy working on the final boss, or he busy with other things.

So I haven't played for a while but I think nothing changed, so here are my thoughts.
Bugs:
- If you do the up kick repeatedly you can freeze yourself in the air for a spilt second or something like that. Keep doing that and you can use it to jump to places you normally wouldn't be able to in the game. (Btw I used this bug to steal Steven's sandwhich, if you fix this bug can you please make so I can steal steven's sandwhich? >:)
- The werid repeat damage thing still happended to me when I jumped of the edge of a platform to some damage thing I can't remember (Sorry!). Not sure if this is helpful or not, but I still thought I should let you know.
- Going up and down elevators causes val to shake in the air with the landing effect repeately happening.
- Infite jumping on sub platforms still works (I'm not sure how it happended though)
Feedback and Opinions:
- The Prismatic Graveyard feels way too straightforward on where you want to go. Even though we still have a map, maybe make it so that you can explore a little more and get a little lost in it? (Sorry if I'm asking a bit much)
- Can we shorten the jump to steven's sandwhich so that we can accutaly steal it.
- Could you give us the option to eat steven's sandwhich, and the guy could say: "And give Steven a new sandwhich." (Sorry if I'm asking a bit much)
All in all, I'm very happy with this game. I can't wait to buy it when it comes out.
One more question: will the final game be a lot bigger than this demo?
um look it was meant to be a demo. I have more potenial than that.

YES HECK. IT IS DUMB RIGHT NOW. But it has potenial.
