Okay so I have to say I 100% disagree with this statement. For starters we have seen absolutely no evidence that the rest of your family was involved with his wifes murder, just speculation/assumptions on Luceris' part. And after the war broke out your parents sent your 2 oldest brothers to try to negotiate a peace treaty, and when they approached Luceris, under a flag of truce, he had them killed, maimed, and dismembered. All so he could send them back to your family as a message. After he murders your parents, who at the time are unarmed  in their own bedroom, he then proceeds to annex your home country, all so he can crown himself Emperor. 

It's only from the misguided pleading of Lancelot that he spares you, not from any sense of remorse or mercy. Afterwards Luceris wastes no time in naming you Consort, which carries some very heavy implications. For starts he never states WHOS Consort you are. Are you to be married off, even against your will, to Luceris or his son Helios? At any moment during Chapter 2 he can snap his fingers and marry you. Then you would be expected to do your duty and bear his child, and again you would have no say in the matter, and everyone around you would say you should be happy or proud and to just do your duty. You are just a prisoner, a prisoner in a gilded cage but still a prisoner. Luceris has already proven he has the capacity for cruelty to follow through with such atrocities. So no, Luceris is by no means a "Husbando", he is a monster plain and simple. He deserves, and shall receive no mercy from me.

So I really doubt this game is going to see much more progress given the fact that its been a whole yeah at this point. My main issue with the story is that its definitely trying to get you to like these agents, but at no point is it justified. As far you, the player, are aware they work for the same people that murdered your family. And they each apparently have 'Flairs' like you, making them even more detestable since they are essentially hunting down people like them to protect their own skin.

Just so I don't seem overly negative I do like this game. It's an interesting premise and world that I would have loved to see it expanded upon. 

Love this story and look foward to the next Chapters! Really hope we get the option to have Luceris face the monter he made! Would love the option to remove Vincent's miserable head from his wretched, brooding, shoulders.
