Hi all!
I'm an undergraduate senior @ MIT studying creative writing and computational cognitive science looking for a project to work on as a video game writer.
I'm new to interactive narrative design/game narratives, but I have experience in novel and film/TV writing from my classes at MIT and Harvard, as well as in my independent work.
I have a published novelette (https://foofaraw.press/faceless-by-ellie-montemayor/) from an independent press (Foofaraw Press), I have worked in student journalism (https://thetech.com/authors/ellie-montemayor) as an award-winning and highly-cited student journalist, and I have posted some short fiction on my Substack (https://elliemontemayor.substack.com).
Open to any writing-adjacent role for a story-focused project such as core narrative and scripting (preferred), in-game and functional text, or structural/pre-production writing, etc.
Not really interested in visual novels; more so looking for 2D/3D action/adventure/action-adventure, RPG, or simulation games that require significant interactive narrative design, but am also happy to work on other genres.
