The idea is really cool, but it's really difficult to understand the goal of the game, and how to reach it. Like someone else already said, maybe more indications about how to craft tea would be nice.
Additionally, making the camera go in front of the character instead of behind it would allow the player to see where they go.
Excellent game, but without the comment section, i couldn't have found the goal, because i headed south...
Maybe you should make something to make the direction to take more obvious, like maybe some walls preventing you from going in your wrong direction, a panel, or even some talk from the character...
Despite that, this a great and very original work ! Loved the idea !
really impressed by the visuals, the game has also an excellent music. The warm being your life and regerating when you deal damage is also a very good mechanic !
I just didn't understand the goal, is it to kill all of the ennemies ?
Also, not really important, but there's some colision bug with the dash allowing to go through walls, and the big boss doesn't seem to be able to deal damages.
Really cool music and SFX, the mechanics are easy to understand, and fit the theme perfectly.
But for the fun... You can actualy just walk straight for ever to reach the end, by jumping to avoid taking damage, making the campfire and the fights useless. Even if you fight, the snowman are really too weak, by dealing damage only when you stand long enough next to them. In results, you just need to aim the group, and spam the click.
To solve those problems, maybe you could make some of the the snow man bigger, and make them dealing you damage the moment you touch them, so jumping above the group would become difficult, so you would need to take the risk of missing the jump in order to avoid the fight, what would become fun (because of the risk and reward thing).
For the fights in themselves, maybe making spawn the snowman less grouped, and making their movements a little bit random would improve the fun, cause you would have to aim more carefully in order to avoid wasting your fire.
Finally, the environnement is really repetitive, and not really readable, and that make the player unable to know where they need to go after they turned around too many times. To fix that, you could maybe add something to make the end and the place where you came from really differentiable, for exemple by adding some light from the great fire that could be seen from far.
So yeah, this a really cool creation, it's nice to see a 3D game in a jam, especially with this very original art direction. The concept is really cool too ! With more difficulty, the fact that your munition and your health are the same thing would be a great mechanic ! But as things stand, it's unfortunaly really not fun...
