Hey! Thank you so much for playing Phantomware. I really loved watching your playthrough and it means a lot to me that you gave it a try. The version you played was just an early prototype, but I am happy to share that the full game is planned to release before the end of this year. Thanks again for all the support, it truly keeps me motivated. 💜
Hey! Thanks so much for playing Phantomware. I loved watching your playthrough! It really means a lot that you gave it a shot. Just a heads-up: the version you played was the original game jam build. The updated version is now on Itch, with fixes for the restart-after-death issue and other bugs. Still, I truly appreciate the support and the video. Thank you again! 💜
I absolutely love the atmosphere, the vibe, and the music, everything about this game feels really thoughtful and carefully crafted. The visuals are beautiful and it’s clear a lot of care went into it.
That said, I think the gameplay mechanics could use a bit of improvement. The controls feel a little frustrating at times, especially during the third scene where we have to collect the five hearts.
But aside from that, everything looks amazing, and I’m really looking forward to playing more. Wishing you all the best : )
¡Hola! 😊
Thank you so much! I am really happy you enjoyed the game, that honestly means a lot to me!
And I really appreciate you pointing out the glitch. That issue with the character freezing in the hidden rooms (like the coin one and the block puzzle area) was actually in an older version, but it’s been fixed in the latest build. Still, thanks a ton for letting me know.
Thanks again for playing Phantomware 0! I am excited to share more with you soon :)
Wow, thank you so much! That really means a lot to us 💜 This was just a short teaser prototype, and we’re working hard on the full game, which we plan to release near the end of this year. Thanks again for checking it out! If you’d like, there’s a Steam link in the description too, wishlisting it would help us a lot 🙏
Thank you so much for pointing that out. To be honest, the meme was quite blurry, so I didn’t fully realize what it was referencing. I completely understand how it could be sensitive, and I truly appreciate you taking the time to let me know. I’ve replaced it now, and I’ll be more careful moving forward. Thanks again for your thoughtful and important feedback, it really means a lot
I really loved the music and how perfectly it matched the tone of the game.
Here are a few bits of feedback and suggestions:
- The typewriter text speed felt a bit too slow for me, so I ended up skipping it.
- It would be great if there were some background music in the main menu too.
- The game felt quite short—I really wanted more! Maybe you could continue the story after the last private film?
- The dialogue was really well written.
Overall, I really enjoyed the game and what it’s aiming for. I just wish there was more to play. Keep it up—I can’t wait to play more from you! 😊

What happens when a late-night game test turns into a digital nightmare? In Phantomware 0, you play as a QA tester handed a strange build to check during an overnight shift. But something’s not right. The UI glitches, the OS acts up, and soon, you’re questioning if you’re still safe behind the screen—or if something is watching you through it.
This is a compact, standalone horror experience meant to be played in one sitting (~30 minutes). It blends modern 3D visuals with an old-school pixel UI and draws heavily from analog horror, retro aesthetics, and real-world tech unease.
🎮 Features:
Glitchy, immersive computer simulation with layered horror
Atmospheric 3D environments and static overlays
Text-based terminals and subtle psychological dread
Multiple endings based on your interactions
Originally made in 10 days for a game jam, now being expanded

We’d love feedback—especially if you enjoy short horror stories that mess with your perception and use UI as part of the scare. Thanks for checking it out, and if it leaves you uneasy, we’ve done our job!
Note: This is a safe-for-work psychological horror experience. No NSFW content is present.
Thank you so much for taking the time to play the game and share your feedback—it means a lot! I’m really glad you found the concept interesting and see potential in it.
You’re totally right about the character sprites vs. enemies—it’s a style choice (admittedly a bit experimental!), but I completely get how it might feel uneven. And no, it’s not your stupidity at all about the inventory button on Android—that’s super valid feedback!
By the way, I’m currently deep in development on a brand-new project! It’s coming to Steam. It would help me massively if you could check it out from here and wishlist it if you like it, Thank you so much again for your feedback :) : https://store.steampowered.com/app/3432440/Phantomware_0/
Thank you very much for playing our game! We truly appreciate your feedback. This game was developed in just 10 days for a game jam. We loved watching your reactions and will carefully consider your feedback.
Spoiler warning
Regarding the monster, it plays a crucial role in the story. Initially, it exists only within the system, but as you progress, you realize that it uses the game as a host to break into the real world and attack the player. It’s a phantom virus that needs a host device to manifest and influence reality—you first notice this while playing the mini-game. That said, we agree the jumpscare could use some polish, and we’re actively working on improving it.We’re excited to release the finished version on Steam soon! We would love to see a 3D-printed version of our monster. If it wins, we’d be happy to send you the 3D model file of it!
