This game is a delight! The characters are extremely well crafted, down to distinctively unique idling and movement cycles, and despite their status as demons, all of their interactions read as very human. The designs are super cute, and the occasional still frame artwork helps add to the drama. Also it has a completely original soundtrack that is catchier than it has a right to be.
For new players going into the game blind, I'd recommend starting with Plum's route. She provides the most traditional killing game experience, and leaves room for the player to draw their own conclusions about the events happening throughout the game.
I was predictably quite fond of Blitz and Avant, but Sage popped up as a surprise favorite towards the late game experience. He is the rare, elusive poet jock. He is not allowed to wear a shirt. He is the most likely to make Grumpypants Taiga blush. Still not over the bit of post canon content where he's like "yeah we've never actually really been in the same room before! I've been playing a role in order to keep everyone's psyches from snapping." I'm sure that's not indicative of any deep seeded trauma whatsoever
Looking forward to the next installment
