Thank you so much for playing it. I’m really glad you enjoyed Chapter 2. Hearing that from players means a lot to me, especially as a solo developer. I put a huge amount of work into the atmosphere, pacing, and tension of that chapter. More updates and improvements are coming for the main project as well.

Hello everyone,

I’ve just released my free standalone horror/action demo, **The Hours Before Wyndham**.

The game is a dark top-down shooter set in the world of *Acre of the Devil*, focused on atmosphere, tension, exploration, and survival.

You play as Hector Hale, searching for his missing brother while a strange disease spreads through abandoned villages and isolated settlements.

Features:

- Dark atmospheric world

- Story-driven exploration

- Fast brutal gunplay

- Zombies and infected enemies

- Environmental storytelling

- Original soundtrack

- Inspired by classic horror and western themes

The project is also connected to my larger upcoming game, **Acre of the Devil**, which will feature more weapons, enemies, mechanics, and a much larger world.

I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback, bug reports, or gameplay ideas to help improve the project further.
