Hey there!

I am looking to comission some artwork for a game I am working on . I have some isometric pixel art sprites i would like to have converted ( from a previous game) to a 2d sidescroling pixelart format. If you are interested we can discuss your fee. I am fairly new to the whole thing, so dont know what a reasonable price is for the work i like to be done, but i am verry willing to have a converation on it!

My new game is set in the same universe as the last game i made with a friend, so id like to have some artistic continuity regarding playable characters and enemies, or props, but i am also very open to any personal artistic contributions ofcourse.

Thank you! Ah thats to bad, but understandable ofcourse. All the best to you too friend!

Hello There!

Im working on a game project, just hobby for now, but if it turns out good, id like to put it on steam. Its a 2d sidescrolling cyberpunkish incremental platformer game set in the same universe as a previous game a friend and I made, called Neon Colony, available on steam. That game is in isometric perspective and i would like some of our sprites, to be converted to 2d animated sprite sheets.

If your're interested we can maybe work something out. I think it would be a few bite sized commisioned jobs. To be perfectly honest, its my first time asking for such things, so no idea what prices are for such jobs and if thats something my hobby budget allows. Ill add a picture of an example enemy sprite id like to to have as a 2d animated little fellow:

the sprites dont have to be to detailed, just nice simple and clean to fit the aestehic of the rest of the game

Best

Thats great, looking forward to it! Also added you on discord under the name abe

Hi!

Thanks :). Thats great! I was thinking on some attack effects like zappy lightning sounds,  a plasma beam sound,  a continous flamethrouwe sound. These dont have to be too realistic. Im also open to any suggestions of ideas you have ofcourse. Currently i have some dark cuberpunkish music by whitebat audio which i realy enjoy. Id also like some ambient scifi sewer/industrial sounds. Can i hit you up on discord, i dont know how to share sounds files here.

If this is all to vague, i can come back to you when the game is a bit further along ofcourse.

Hey!

Im currently working on a 2d incremental beat em up game set in a dystopian cyberpunkish neon city. A friend and I made another game in the same setting and this game is set in the same universe, you can find it on steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3192000/Neon_Colony/ (there is a free demo to available on the same page). Im planning to release the new game we're working on on steam too.

If youre interested id be realy happy with some cool sound effects. Id also be very happy to give you propper credits!

There are some images of the game im currently working on, its still a work in progress ofcourse, but just for the feel, in this post:

Im going to have all kinds of attacks/spell effect/ some more realistc, some more scifi.

Hey! Its on this page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3192000/Neon_Colony/ . Should be right from the purchase option (atelast in my browser when i look at the page). We do not have a dedicated demo page. Let me know if you can find it!

I have sent you a friend request using the discord name Abe

DaFluffyPotato has some real nice tutorials on youtube!

We'd love any feedback/tests on our tower defense game Neon Colony if you are up for it! There is a free demo on steam so u can check out if you like to try it out.

Hi there!

I am looking for a pixel art artist to make character and enemy spritesheets for my 2d pixelart cyberpunkish platformer game. I already have some character portraits and some enemy spritesheets (but drawn in isometric perspective).  Id like those to be used for my 2d characters and enemies in my new game. The game is set in the same universe as an older game a friend and i made and we like to continue building out that universe! For that game we made all the sprite assets ourselves and we can make these available for inspiration/conversion to 2d. Of course there is also room for new characters, enemies and sprites for the artist to come up with if they like.

The older game is called Neon Colony, for those that like to get a feel of the universe (there is a free demo on steam).  My new game is still very much a work in progress but here are a few screen shots and png's for the feeling (the sprites used at the moment are placeholders):

Some character portraits id realy like to be converted to animated 2d sprites (the player will play as these characters):

Some isometric enemy design id like to be converted to 2d animates sprites:

Some screenshots of the game (work in progress and placeholder sprites):

Or did you mean programming languages? If so, we made it fully in python with the pygame module.

Thats nice! How do you go about that usually?

Thanks! It'sonly  in English right now.
