For the last few days i've been focusing only about one thing in my game, and it's t the way enemies behave. I'm making a stealth game, and i need to make so they can notice you, chase you and lose you.

you can get spoted if they hear, or see you. when they notice you one of these icons will show up depending on the way they did it.

they see you when your direction is where they looking at, unless you are behind a wall. but dont think that you are safe ther because they can hear you from a close distance if you walk, which gets bigger when you run.

when they are chasing you they just go to your derection and go around the walls on their way. once they dont here or see you, they go to the spot where you were last seen, and look to the direction you were going to, if they still cant see you they will look around, and if after all that they still didnt find you, they will go to their initial position.

I also plan to make so they can do different things when they are on they initial spot like going back and forward, or just looking around. of course these dog looking monsters are not the only enemies in the game and i plan to add more variations and stuff.

after realizing that i'm getting tired of my old project, i decided to start making a new game. It's going to be a stealth game just like my last one, but with top-down perspective, and much better enemy AI. It will also have a complitely different style with techniques borrowed from retro games and chiptune like music.

Here some screensgots of what i have right now.

yeah, you can tell that i just started just by looking at the main menu which looks like its from one of those fnaf ransomware games, but i actively work on this game and almost finished writing the above mentioned AI, so expect more posts soon.
