Hey everyone! I just published my first game on itch.io and I'd love some feedback from this community.
Nexus Manager is a MOBA esports management simulator — you run the org, not the players. Scout rookies, train stats, master champions, draft comps, and watch your team fight on a live battle map. Climb from Bronze through 8 tiers to Pro T1 and compete at Worlds.
🎮 Play free in your browser: https://aadagiogames.itch.io/nexus-manager
What's in the game right now:
- 100 unique champions across 12 classes and 5 roles
- 4-step draft system with bans, class counters, synergies, and fearless draft
- Live territory-based battle map with 10 player positions and objectives
- 20 player traits that activate conditionally (Clutch Player, Tilter, Big Stage...)
- Morale system — players react to wins, losses, and team dynamics
- Hidden motivation system that affects how long a player wants to keep competing
- XP bar progression where every stat point takes multiple games to earn
- 12 manager held items, 5 upgradeable facilities
- Career mode with trophies, reputation, and org switching
- Dynamic game length (20-45 min where each minute in game is about 1 second in real life) — stomps end early, close games go the distance
- AI opponents that scale with your team power
- Is the early game economy balanced? You start with ◇30,000 and can only recruit C/D grade players. Does it feel too tight or about right?
- Does the draft system make sense the first time through? Or is it overwhelming?
- Any bugs or screens that feel broken?
- What feature would make you keep playing past the first season?
It's a single HTML file, saves to localStorage, works on mobile. Built with React 18.
I'm specifically looking for feedback on:

This is under active development with weekly updates planned. First DLC (Regional Rivals — 3 new international regions) is in development.
Thanks for playing!
