Metal Factory level

Thank you for trying the demo and for the thoughtful feedback. I really appreciate you reaching out. I’m not quite ready to bring on additional audio help for Bastion Grid right now, but I’d be happy to stay in touch and keep you in mind for possible future collaborations.  I have several more projects in the planning and outlining stages that will be more in depth and require a more coherent audio and sound treatments.

Thanks again!

Had to post it to FB, itch wont let me post it here for some reason.

The new ammo boxes worked well, much easier to see now. demo runs clean and smooth once the gameplay starts.  I didn't notice any stuttering or stalling.    i played for a good 3-5 minutes, was able to top up ammo, reload and take out the enemies.  Starting menus, (personal opinion) are still a little rough being off to the sides,  if you were able to center them to these area's it might be a little cleaner looking,  and then maybe increase the size of the tiles by about 15%-20% but then it wouldn't show off your art. so... toss up?   just my thoughts on this.  i've got a screen shot i tried to post but the turnstile wont let me, you mind if i send it to you directly?

Sounds good I'll check it out when you do the updates, I like the design of the zombies too.

Looks good, but some of the menu options needs to be a bit larger to see them a little better, and if you could have them be more center screen than off to the side I think that would flow better. good demo, I might have played a little more but I ran out of ammo and couldn't figure out how to get more (I didn't look too hard for it though I will admit)

Not bad, but it doesn't give a sense of speed to me, and I totally cheated (on accident)  in the beginning waiting for the green light i just went and all the other cars caught up to me by lap 2 or 3.

Desperately seeking feed back on this newest version,  I'm  solo developing this  and I know I'm too close to it to see the issues now. 2d style, Tower Defense game, that incorporates resource management, combined arms and defensive strategies. Demo has a tutorial level, a 10 wave survival mission, then an endless mode. The full game will have even more. Game is PC based and you need a mouse and keyboard to play. https://a2c3games.itch.io/bastion-grid-tactical-defense-command

Bastion Grid:TDC Demo  Tower defense

Ok i checked it out, its not bad, if you increased the firing rate and in turn increase the projectile speed you could have an interesting little browser game. As someone who grew up just after this era of gaming it was nice to see this style again.

I  recently released the public playtest demo for my game,  a tactical, 2D, sci-fi tower-defense game focused on building walls, securing territory, capturing Resource Nodes, and surviving enemy waves

This is my first released game project, and I’m looking for honest feedback from players outside my immediate circle. You do not need to be an experienced game tester, feedback from both experienced strategy players and newer players would be amazingly helpful.

Bastion Grid: Tactical Defense Command

Single player game, shouldn't take more than 15-20 minutes to run through the tutorial and the game demo. there is an endless option.

The demo is posted now, and I'd love feed back

Other Details: The demo is free and includes:

  • A complete 10-wave defense run
  • Optional Bonus Endless play
  • Basic, Weapons, and Support Training
  • Multiple Build Timer difficulty settings
  • Territory expansion and Resource Node capture
  • Research, structure upgrades, and combat abilities
  • Persistent Demo Challenges and Endless records

I’m especially interested in feedback about:

  • Whether the tutorials and objectives are clear
  • Whether the controls and interface feel intuitive
  • Whether building walls and securing territory is understandable
  • Tower and enemy balance
  • Wave pacing and overall difficulty
  • Performance problems, bugs, crashes, or visual issues
  • Anything that felt confusing, frustrating, too slow, or unexpectedly enjoyable
  • Whether the overall gameplay loop makes you want to keep playing

The game contains stylized sci-fi combat, flashing visual effects, and rapid on-screen action. There is no graphic violence.

This is currently a Windows 64-bit build and requires a keyboard and mouse. Because this early playtest build is not digitally signed, Windows may display a security warning when launching it.

How To Contact: You can leave feedback in this thread, post a comment on the itch.io game page, or email me at a2c3games@gmail.com.

Screenshots, videos, bug reports, and recorded gameplay are also welcome. Even a brief response about what you liked, disliked, or found confusing would be genuinely helpful.

Thank you to anyone willing to give it a try!  I'm a solo developer so getting the outside perspective would be really helpful.

Thank you so much! I appreciate the input and support.

Thanks for the input! It means a lot.

Please give any feed back this is my first game.
