not too much progress has been made this week

and i doubt my ability to get more done, but i will still try

one of our dogs passed away yesterday and... that's hitting me a bit hard, not gonna lie

the spring allergies really killed my momentum on writing

but thankfully, i think the worst has past? hoping to get a finished first draft before the end of the week, abwehhh

was able to get about a page of writing done after work today, whether the writing is good or not.... well, what's important is that i at leasr have something written and i'll work on that from there

i feel silly posting text only updates... but soon ill get some decker screenshots in here !!

didnt get anything done today...

but have a plan to write in my evenings after work this week

then ill see where i am from there after the work week, maybe start getting to making the deck and implementing some text/making graphics on my weekend

my main character is named ben, mid-20s office worker going nowhere fast, always tired and feels empty

they find comfort in disassociating from their body and imagining they are just empty space in a void

due to this love of disassociating and doing it probably way too often, they feel doomed to never have themselves figured out and drift through life as a simple nothing of a person

but then something happens (their body gets mutated and transformed, transgender sorta things, and that'll be what the vn is about weeeeeeee)

i saw some of that resource thread in here and it was very helpful to read! thank u for typing it up

and yeah, i find myself struggling a little bit but im doing my best to ignore the me that says everything is bad, just putting stuff on paper and i'll let myself edit it later

it's good to have something as a starting point

i havent started any work in decker yet, but i have started writing out stuff in my sketchbook

gonna spend the evening working on writing a bunch more, dont have too much right now

some concept art of the main character, very loose outline of what i want to do

there's a part of me that's worried that my writing will be rough and bad since i don't really have much of any experience writing but i'm not gonna let that stop myself

its been too long since ive used decker

and im gonna use this jam to try and get back into using it again, because i absolutely loved making stuff in it

dunno why i stopped playing with it...

it'll also be a good excuse to... make myself actually do writing maybe, lol 

i have no ideas coming to mind yet but im sure ill come up with something

this hits really close, it is very good

on an unrelated note: if i had screwheads coming out of my body, i'd fidget with them so bad

now i have read through the whole series and im so excited for more
