Thank you so much!

Awesome art, music, and story. The controls could be a little bit wonky at times, but overall a great experience ^-^

Neat interpretation of the theme, short and sweet game ^-^

hahaha, fair point!

Really cool graphics and gameplay! I only wished there were some curtains to make rooms darker, but you managed to include a lot in the given time frame ^-^

An enjoyable game! The art style and witty writing stood out the most to me. Gives hefty The Secret of Monkey Island nostalgia ^-^

Great art style, music, and writing! The ending was impactful ^-^

I wished the dark creature was explained a bit, but overall I enjoyed this experience :)

I think that was a good idea!

This was a lot of fun to play! It was perfectly challenging for me and well paced between harder and easier sections. A small note: The green water flickers in the current build to the point of making me feel a little bit sick 😅

I've rated 25 games by now and more people need to play this one, absolutely stellar graphics

Graphics out of this world, great story, sound effects, voice acting, and overall vibe. The aspect ratio stood out to me as a really clever decision and the extremely short break between : and ) was another golden detail ^-^

INCREDIBLE story! The characters, world, and visuals kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time ^-^

Really nice game! I was especially impressed by the sounds. One of them I could've sworn was outside the window behind me, but then I lowered the volume and is was gone. Impressive!

Really cool game! I liked the art style and the swap place mechanic. I probably would've liked some kind of barrier between floors that only clears after defeating all enemies there to prevent players from just walking through everything, but still really cool overall ^-^

I enjoyed experiencing H. C. Andersen's story this way. Gorgeous art!

Really nice game with well execution! (Pun intended.)

I liked all of the references and the different art styles you had. Great job!

Very fun and charming game! I especially liked the art, music, digging mechanic, and the fact that the enemies had patrol routes. (I guess I just described the whole game, huh?) I personally wish that I would've gotten a victory screen after looting all of the graves instead of them resetting for me to try to get a high score. I also didn't realise that the last layer was a lid and backed out, returned, and dug through the lid before I realised that I just had to click it :P

That's understandable! I haven't figured out how to make UI responsive to resolution yet, hence why I didn't make a web build. I'll look into it in the future though!

Nice art style and music. I especially like the balance between strategy and skill ^-^

Great game, especially the art style and voice acting ^-^

Really fun and polished game! The art style and descending reminded me of Downwell. I especially enjoyed how some of the upgrades gave you empty lives, the ability to regenerate lives, or sacrificing lives for bonuses. Really really clever! Honestly wished there was an endless mode just so I could play it for longer 😅

Great concept and art style. Looking forward to the full release!

exciting!!!

Extremely polished game! I especially liked the combo system, music, and art style. Great job ^-^

Excellent art style and writing ^-^

Can't wait to play again with the battle system in place!

Really cool game! Can't wait for the full release ^-^

Excellent story, mechanics, art style, and voice acting. A great experience ^-^

The game fits the theme and was executed well. Really great decision to have enemies in a game like this and also not including them in the staring area. The game was pretty difficult, but I managed to complete it. Well done!

I've rated 10 games so far and think this one is the coolest

Speaking of controls, I really wanted to press arrow up on my keyboard to get to previous commands like in other terminals. Also, sometimes after submitting a command, the game thought I wanted to look around instead of writing another command (for example: "download" → enter → "s" as in "start") so I'd personally reserve the looking around only to clicking.

I'd also let the player read the note from the itch.io page first thing in-game.

All of this is nitpicking though, the game's vibe is phenomenal.

Great interpretation of the theme and the level design stood out to me, well done!

Yeah, that's all I was able to do for now. I'll add the rest after the voting period is over.

I wanted to make the island's music more impactful by not having anything before then, but I'll definitely consider your suggestion. Thank you for playing!

Thank you so much!!! That means a lot coming from you ^-^

Yeah, the island is the last part for now. I intend to implement everything else after the voting period is over.

Thank you for playing! Your comment about the vibe means a lot ^-^

Well executed game with relevant mechanics and setting. Good job!

Extremely cool game! Love the vibe and gameplay ^-^

Kinda buggy, but the art style is impeccable. Great job overall!

Extremely charming game! I enjoyed how you interpreted the theme, all the fun references on the tombstones, and especially the ending. Well done!

The art style is really nice and I enjoyed the ending I got ^-^

Extremely fitting interpretation of the theme and well implemented! Great work ^-^
